Single women and hundreds of messages

It's been said that single women on Fab receive hundreds of messages every day, but apart from the first few days when I joined I've received no more than about ten a day, usually less.

This isn't a complaint - far from it! I like just getting a few, any more would be unmanageable! - but I'm just curious as to whether or not some/most single women do get that many.

I am the same. I was inundated in the first few days and now receive about 5-10 per day, plus ones from friends.

Depends...sometimes i get loads n other days i dont, swings n roundabouts i guess...just amazes me that alot if not most cannot accommodate, impossible for me to as ive got a teen at home.

If one applies the relevant filters right from the start, and prevent themselves from being search on the web or via FAB, then one is unlikely to receive many messages.

I think "hundreds" is at the extreme end of exaggeration.

When Mrs C has been on cam in chat we have had probably up to 40 or so but thats not every day regularly its about 5-10 or so a day.

However I have seen single female profiles with some nice pictures on them, clicked on the pic and they had 2000 likes in 2-3 months, so I assume for that mid 20's very hot single female who meets everything (couples, men, MF), they might be getting up to 40-50 a day but even then there arent many of them on here..

Same here with the pics! I haven't noticed a paticular day of the week thing...will have to start a spreadsheet and get proper stats! LOL :D

I like to think thay like the look of me , lol and i am picky so dont meet alot its a treat , lol just most have everyone on block here , lol

It depends if I've been on cam or not, if I have it can be as many as 30-40, if not usually about 10, I try to keep on top of them now, when I first joined, I left them for a week and ended up with about 200+ to deal with, I couldn't answer them all, so deleted them lol

See that's the thing isn't it? All these guys who message a woman the first week she joins aren't thinking properly. I had so many at first I deleted most of them with barely a glance, and there were probably some in there that, had they waited a bit, I'd have been happy to chat to.

To be honest most of the ones I get now haven't even looked at my profile, so they just get deleted, some have looked, but not what I'm looking for, so they get a thanks, but no thanks mail back, very few that mail me turn out to be worth reading if I'm honest. Very occasionally, I will get one that makes me perk haha

i get loads but i think it depends on your profile as to how mnay you get

most of the messages i get are from guys after water sports or foot play, because my profile its quite detailed about what i like i get messages from guys after a certain thing on here

I think if i removed the interest for water sports or foot play from my profile i wouldnt get half the messages i do

i have on a few occasions had upto 100 messages in a day and id say my average amount is about 40/50 a day

if i go in the chat room and put my cam on the messages just rocket

its not just about being a single woman, its down to what you are offering and certainly being seen on cam that determines how many messages you get

When I was with a paid site looking for NSA fun, I received 200+ messages the day I uploaded a new naked pic of me.

It took me 3 to 4 days to clear, as there was a cap in the number of messages I could send out per day!

Therefore, from experience, it is possible to receive hundreds of messages in a day.

I think that if you're online hrs each day and especially late at night,if you cam lots or upload pics all the time then it leads to far more messages than normal

I get between 50-100 a day, first week on here prob triple that.

Used to reply to all messages, even if to say no thanks.

Now, if its clear someone hasn't taken time to read and respect my profile, I don't feel I have to respect them enough to give them a reply.

Saves me loads of time now I'm more ruthless shall we say

I guess it's all about exposure - the more you put yourself about (on forums, cams, good profile with face / body pics) the more attention you will draw to yourself.

That's why if I ever go on cam I spend at least half an hour hitting myself repeatedly with an ugly stick...

When my profile was visible I got an absolute minimum of 50 messages per day, up to probably 200 or so.

I am online a lot though (I tend to keep my pc and 'phone logged on) so I get seen a lot in the 'online now' list. I rarely cam though and I don't often upload new photos.

Plus there's my name and some specialised interests like watersports and Domination. A lot of the messages I get are looking for something kink related, or think kinky means easy.

Oh, and my boobs are a magnet for some.

A huge proportion were one liners, or didn't fit what I am looking for.

I got a lot more when I had face pics in public, but it has dropped since I put them in private. Some will exaggerate about the number of messages they get as they see it as a competition, others will genuinely get 100's...the more pics and the more that can be seen in them will make a difference, as will age range, area they're in, filters applied, etc. I feel I get enough messages to keep me happy, and if I don't get any that appeal then I'll have a browse myself and look for guys that take my fancy! x

You have to remember back to when you first joined....

Not knowing the site or how the filters worked....

I had over 300 on my first visit, before my pic had even been verified!!!

Some look out just for the "new" ones joining in the hope that they get some kind of a reaction......Get in there quick before anyone else does lol

When I first joined a couple of years ago I didn't know about the filters and within a few minutes of creating my profile I had tons of messages. It made me nearly delete my profile within an hour of making it.

When I had to delete my old one and create this one, the first thing I did was take myself off the searches and block everyone. I relaxed the filters after a couple of weeks and haven't had any hassle at all.

Most of the time I'm not searchable as I prefer to go looking for people I might like.

Hi ladies

It's really hard for us guys and thats being genuine, I've been lucky to chat to a few girls and they have moved on from just talking about sex and on to day to day chat.

The one liners comment. Please don't shout me down on this but give us some advice.

When a couples or single girls profile says none pushy guys, I send a quick intro to myself, complement them on their profile and pics and that's it.

There's other profiles that say something like they'll me your fantasy so I again complement their profile and send a naughty message

But knowing the boundaries or what to put is difficult, there's so many guys for you to contact were all fighting for your attention

You'll notice if you load a new photo the messages increase for a day ot two...... also if you hand about in chatrooms, even more so if you have a cam on.

Hence why some women load and reload photos two or three times per week and flash their cleavage on cam.

I get on average around 120 a day but that is due to men resending messages and that fact that I'm still deemed as new.

I have many times met my message limit so have to wait until midnight to be given more.

I had 3 pages of messages just on the first day I got on here. I tried, in vain, to answer them all but in the time I was responding to one I was getting another 3! I had to delete loads. Then I discovered filters. Thank you!

I have no desire to have tons of messages from guys I am unlikely to ever want to meet. I rarely if ever have to go browsing. I get just enough to keep me occupied. I do try to say 'no thanks' to those I have no interest in but delete those which are crude, rude or lacking in any effort or imagination. My time is too valuable to me to waste time with people who cannot be arsed.

This is a really good idea, similar to not being able to post in the forums for the fist week. It's silly contacting a woman as soon as she joins, anyway, as you're up against hundreds of other messages.

Mrs P did get a fair amount of messages but it was never 'hundreds'. The main problem was that she tried to reply to most of them but the ones she said she 'may' be interested in then pestered with daily 'want me today?' messages. So she filtered and blocked and problem solved.

Since then though she rarely gets any even tho all those couples and ladies are supposedly seeking the 'elusive bi woman'.

When we had a couples profile we'd get maybe ten a week (unless we didn't filter single men and then it was a fair bit more, but again never hundreds)

Since i set my filters i get on average 10 a day. Some days maybe two some it could be 12. Always get more when new pictures have been loaded. Also i tend to get more on mondays than any other day of the week and if im on after midnight i will get more than i have in the whole day.

I really cant see the point in getting loads of messages aday. Im quite happy with my lot.

Mind you i send and recieve loads of messages a day from friends, ive never counted how many ive sent in a day but some days that could be about 80 during the day or if none of my friends are on line much could be very few

I think the general answer is what you put in your advert and what you want. Ifyou want contacts over six foot six, then that puts 85% of contacts off straight away. If you only want guys with beards, then again you are wittling down those without, although there will always be the person who says," I dont comply with what you advertised for, but!!"

Not a single female....but we get on average around 1 message a day from new people looking to meet.

Get more messages from friends or about forum posts.

I'm not even meeting at the moment but have a steady amount of messages.

the least i would get a day is 100, but somedays and mostly on a sunday for some reason i can get 300 messages, if iwas to spend few hours in chat then that reflects in the amount of messages i recieve.

Its very time consuming and i do often just mass delete.

But then im also grateful the people have taken the time to chat to me.

Well as I've just changed my profile to may meet at clubs. It's gone up but 30 a day is about average. Somedays it's a lot more. And I don't count my friends messages.

that could be down to your profile

ive had over a 100 messages some day

it depends on the person and profile, if you have pics, or go on cam you will get more messages

just because you dont get many dont mean everyone dont

true

when i put the pics of my feet up my messages went mad

i got about 50 messages in under half a hour from men into feet

i took all but one off because i couldnt keep up with the messages about them

to be honest though I think it will depend on the profile and what a woman is looking for. as someone that only meets single guys I'm bound to get more than someone that is looking for a bi female

although much of my mail from couples is questions about my relationship and experience as a slave.
