Just started consulting for a trendy fashion brand and the office is literally full of younger people (millenials) majority of which are very attractive women.

I usually prefer women and couples my age but having some deviant thoughts about a few and wondering if they are on fabs .

So question is anyone else had or has this situation in work where you are the oldest in the office?

Anything ever happened.....

Somewhere in Co. Down

I've often been the oldest working in areas in both of my main careers that I've had. And no I have never been tempted to meet anyone from work. Even when I was younger I always kept work and private life separate as I've seen too much fall out when people get involved then stop meeting. To me it's never been worth the drama that follows. Boring that may be but it made work easier to deal with.

The likelihood is that they're not on fab and nothing will happen.

Keep it professional

I've frequently been the oldest in the office. I have to say that I've never really thought of my younger colleagues in a sexual way but I'm not really attracted to people much younger than me. I've also heard the cloakroom chatter about some older colleague's behaviour and I don't want to be the one they're laughing about.

I was very much the oldest at my last workplace - an NGO working with young people and the staff were mostly younger than my own children. The age gap was so big that no-one could imagine anything sexual happening but I'm still close friends with a couple of them who are well aware of my Fab activities and seem a bit bemused by someone of my age still being up for new things.

Lol I think the majority of younger people imagine sex stops at 40 .

Lifes Departure Lounge in NN9

I worked until I was 70 and on 2 occasions was the oldest person in the business let alone the office. Never let work invade my private life.

Joined FAB when I was 72 when someone led me in that direction

HARROW

When I was about 25, I had the opposite situation and I had relationship with the MD's secretary who was 6 years older than me, regularly bending her over the MD's desk for a quickie after hours. Fantastic times! But....would never even remotely consider anything like that these days...age brings wisdom

Guinness halted her at the pass.

In Munich it was Weisse beer.

Just keep things simple, choose your own battlefield not close to home.

I used to work in the music industry in my mid-30's and had a few fun encounters with women in their early 20's who fully hit on me.

Never went there with employees though.

"I’m the building game an get the odd hot daughter some can be flirty "

I’m sure you wouldn’t Luther - but if any older builder/tradesman/woman came to work at my house and tried it on with my kids I’d be fuming and there’d certainly be repercussions.

Home is a ‘safe space’ for children/young people - and a lot of youngsters ‘try out’ flirting on older people they deem safe to home their skills as it were. It’s up to the older person to accept that this is inappropriate and steer well clear.
