Have any of you guys been invited to a women's home, arrived at the address only to find them not there? This has happened to me twice after driving some distance.

Are you sure they were real profiles, were they well verified or just someone on the site for wank fodder

I've had the opposite, people agree a meet and not turn up, it's a fairly common occurance on here, there's posts about it daily

All you can do is be really careful with who you are meeting, then being verified helps, some people like to speak on the phone first although personally i won't give out my number as each time I've done it previously the person has become a nuisance

Sadly op I've read several threads about this happening.

In all honesty,it probably wasn't even a women .Not many would invite you straight to their home these days.

I always meet socially first ,that might be a good idea for you too.i hope you've reported the profile ,some sad people on here unfortunately.

It hasn't happened to us but you might consider these points

How many women will invite a man from the internet into their home without at least meeting at a neutral venue?

Is driving a fair distance to meet someone from the internet reasonable?

Unfortunately Fab is flooded with fake profiles, many have fake verifications too. It's not a problem for us, as we meet real people in clubs. Hopefully you can learn from experience to spot the fakes.

Good advice but ya know horn brain... Every so often it's really worth it.

Someone mentioned clubs, is there anywhere great near Salisbury?

OP horrible thing to happen.

I really don't understand the mentality of such people. I love fab and all the people I've met here. Really pisses me off that there are some idiots about though.

A playmate of ours had this happen to him and when he got to the address there was 4/5 guys in cars all looking slightly sheepish that had all had the same done to them. Must be infuriating x

Never happened to us. We we try to cut out the fakes by not entertaining unverified profiles (takes nothing to photo veri). Even then we are cautious with minimal veris and insist on socials. Best way to meet legit people is by far via social events and clubs but not always an option.

Only thing we can suggest is take the stance that if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

thats uncalled for ... we used to know of a couple who found this a ''fun'' thing to do as they hated single men in swinging so they messed guys around as much as they could they normally gave a addy where they could see from the window and laught ...we were str8 and blunt with them and told them that they were completly cuntish and wanted no more to do with them ...its not funny but there are couples who do it ..

I've also pretty much done away with meets from I'll chat with people but clubs is where I want to meet ...at least if they don't show I'm in an environment where I can still enjoy myself

All of that said I just want 2 or 3 regulars that's all
