Nudist holidays

We're thinking of going on a nudist holiday, not sure where yet, and we know that nudist places aren't sexual but we're thinking surely there must be a bit of attraction to some others at the site and maybe some flirting? Are we completely wrong and barking up the wrong tree lol? We'd be interested to know of others experiences please

As in any walks of life there is bound to be a crossover

But would you go and flirt with another couple in the pub at the top of your road

Lots of nudists will take serious offence at people trying to take things sexual, as naturism and swinging are two very different things so be careful you don't want to be chucked off the site

If you go abroad Venus & Mirage hotels in Gran Canaria are both nudist/Swingers resorts where you may get the odd couple that are nude only but most are swingers and play can happen in public so you're on safer territory

There was a nudist beach in Spain I used to visit, purely nudist on the beach, sunbathing and swimming. But at the back in the dunes, there was always fun there.

Nudism is the act of being naked and enjoying your own skin.

Naturism goes further and for many is a lifestyle involving self-respect, vegetarianism, non-smoking, yoga, teetotalism, pacifism and respect for the environment.

The whole awkwardness about Naturism and swinging is made far more complicated than it has to be. Simple naturist spaces are exactly the same as textile spaces except everyone is naked. Normal people and families just being themselves but naked. So your wouldn't inappropriate in a textile space so it's completely the same in a naked space. But likewise just the same as in the textile world do what you like behind closed doors with who ever you like. And there are a fair few of us swingers who also enjoy Naturism.

So here our experiences:

Silverleigh Spa. Naturists spa/Hotel where probably 80% of the visitors are swingers. Nothing sexual in public. But "relaxation" rooms are available as play rooms (and unofficially accepted as such) plus if you have a hotel room you can take your new freinds there.

Lakeside. Lovely Naturist campsite. Normally a fair few off fab there. Likewise just a normal campsite but take whoever you want behind closed doors.

Tything Barn beautiful campsite. Acres of land to explore nude and a lake to go skinny dipping in. Really not a swinger vibe.

We are also big fans of Chameleons near Birmingham. Although it's a club they have accommodation, open in the daytime and have a good sundeck. We normally innthe summer book a few nights, enjoying the sun deck naked in the daytime and the club (you can also be naked) all day. There of course you can be naked and be as naughty as you like.

Just come back from 7 nights at Venus Star Gran Canaria. Its both a nude resort and swingers resort. So not only can you be naked and free you can also be as naughty as you want whenever you want (just not in the hot tub, they draw the line there). And of course your fellow guests are also swingers. It's brilliant

When we lived in Skiathos we had a lot of guests who frequented Little Banana Beach and was told by them that they were Naturists.

We are nudists.

We've been to several campsites and nude beaches in the UK.

We've found they all have a mixture of both nudist and swingers, mostly what goes on behind closed doors caravans tents ect.

We love tything barn a bit clique but beautiful site we also go to the naturist foundation campsite family oriented but lots of play in vans

Hi. Firstly, forget about any distinction between naturism and nudism. In this country and Europe they are exactly the same thing and naturism definitely does not mean all those things here.

We've been naturists/nudists for many years and all our holidays are naturist, either here or abroad. There are many holidays available for you where you are able to have some sexual fun and be naked. But please - not - on uk naturist beaches as we've lost too many of those due to this.

Have a look at Cap de Agde in France. The whole village is naturist and fun fun fun. Also places in Gran Canaria as previously mentioned.

As it has been said, lots of swingers are nudists but not all nudists are swingers. If you go to a specifically nudist resort then go with the intention of just enjoying a naked holiday and if you happen to meet like minded people then that will be a bonus...

Firstly, I would say definitely book a nude holiday. It is like nothing else being able to spend days naked around other naked people and never having to cover up or feel awkward. Trust me, whether you end up playing or not you will not want to put your clothes back on and leave at the end of your stay. it is very addictive and most people who try it tend to go again and again.

As for places, it depends on what you want. Most nudist resorts are self catering.

Vera playa in Almeria Spain is huge with lots of separate 'urbanizacion' - like little communities - with apartments/villas and a communal pool all clustered together. You can walk down the street from the urbaizacion to the beach naked and the beach itself is around 2km long. There is also a naturist hotel there if you dont want to self cater. Definitely lots of swinging going on and lots of brits tend to go to vera playa. Always hot and sunny. Downsides are that it doesn't have any real nature or green spaces to enjoy. Its literally built up apartments and a wide open beach. It is also not really 'near' much of any interest. Almeria is mostly an arid countryside and aside from a few pretty villages there just isnt much to go and see (dressed of course). You ll need a car to get there!

Cap'd'agde I have never been to but is the nudist swinger Mecca as far as I can gather. Others will have better info on that.

I would recommend France 4 Naturisme website. This has lots of quite traditional naturist camping/glamping/cabin resorts, across France and will give you a real picture of how enjoyable naturism can be. Many of their sites are set in woodland and have lovely scenery. They can be quite family orientated but you'll still see plenty of couples there and a percentage of them will certainly be swingers.

Croatia has lots of naturist camping and cabin/glamping type resorts, the most famous of which is Koversada. It strikes a nice balance between the very traditional French resorts and the modernism of somewhere like Vera.

Or you can go to somewhere like fuerteventura that has several nudist or swinger/nudist hotels and lots of nudist beaches.

Or simply go on a regular holiday to somewhere like Ibiza or Menorca and spend your days visiting different nudist beaches.

Cap d'Agde naturist village near the town of Agde in south west France is renowned for swinging and sexual activity. There are swingers bars, clubs and Hamman (saunas) all catering for the hedonistic lifestyle. At the height of the season there can be as many as 10,000 people there (some village!).
