Is the way I post my age wrong?

I put on my profile that i'm 37, then a few lines in say I'm 37+vat giving my real age, with a quick line saying

"if you haven't read this bit I'll be 7 years older when we meet"

It's a bit of fun, tongue in cheek and I do fess up when I first get back in touch, just in case they haven't read the profile properly.

I've just had a Female give me a bit of verbal as her limit was 40 and she thought I was being dishonest

Am I ?

Lol 37 plus vat thats legendary, im puttin that on mine! Only ladies r suposed to lie about their age tho.

If I were you, I'd set your profile as your real age, then keep your joke in your profile text. Surely filters go by profile, not the profile text, so that needs to be correct or it does look like you're purposely lying

Agreed ... Definitely put your true age ... Personally I prefer to know a mans true age not the 'joke' age. Puts me off if I'm truthful.

honest opinion is that youve done that so you can mail people with filters around that age range, who you cant message without your real age being on. It will only irritate poeple when you message them as it essentially looks like deception - fun deception but not really that much fun.

Theres no point in doing it at all really

Again agreed .... It irritates me when my age preference completely is ignored on the off change I'll drop my drawers ....

BTW nothing to do with avoiding age filters, I would not try it on in that way

At least somewhere in my (previous) profile wording was my real age unlike a good proportion of others who'd try and pass off as a lot younger

To be honest it probably should say your real age, but then again if people are messaging you then get funny about it they should of read your full profile
