Everything that happens that pisses people off happens both ways.

I think there are people who only use this site when looking for a meet right now and people who might be browsing for later or just browsing. I think many people are too trigger happy with the block button though, I understand your frustration. Perhaps there should be a £5 charge per block. Then people would only block if they had a good reason.

Pay to stop people that might be harassing you?

They probably did you a favour it sounds like you probably wouldn't want to meet people like that? I certainly wouldn't

I'd be charged a fortune then for blocks.

The amount I block alone for being vulgar and rude is sky high x

Same and I'm very forgiving. I will delete twice then it's a block the 3rd time.

If we're to be charged per block then others need to be charged for every rude, disgusting or disrespectful message they send. Also should be charged for harassment too. These are reasons I block people so wouldn't be fair to charge

Exactly!

Those who harass people deserve to be blocked, charging members for it would make it worse!

Apparently when I don't respond in the correct manner to those who ignore my profile and send opening messages that don't contain the word "Hello" but just a list of demands, that "it's my loss"?

Have never been able to work that one out.

OP....we found that a higher percentage of couples are rude, don't read profiles and send one line messages than the percentage of single guys that do the same.

We really do feel for single guys (even those that piss us off)

Bry.

There is no rule for why people block, everyone has their own reasons. At the end of the day it is their choice. Just accept it and move on. Best not to worry about things you have no direct influence over.

Definitely echo above sentiments… nothing stranger than folk..

this literally just happened to me.
