Would welcome any thoughts on good or bad experiences on showing face pictures on public profile. Example friends employers etc

I keep mine in friends only,purely because I'd hate someone to approach me from here in real life.

I've seen a few threads where people have had public face pics and been followed or approached when out with their kids or doing shopping etc.

Sadly not everyone is discreet .

Same also bit iffy on showing body shots as I have a large recognisable tattoo

I've worked in a professional industry for along time, the way i see it, it's our life. If people want to judge let them, if i believed it would affect my work I'd get another job. One were i could be myself.

The first question I'd ask is how did you see my profile if you weren't on here having a cheeky browse anyway

We generally only have none nude pics on our open profile, if people are interested to see more they can PM us or if we've chatted for a time we'll add you as a friend to open up our more explicit album's

I recently deleted all public pics after some absaloute tool decided to find me on Facebook and message my mum with screen shots of me on fab luckily my mum and dad found it funny so I have gone for the blank siloute now doesn't seem to have held me back to much.

The trouble is the 'outers' are less concerned about their own behaviour than they are everyone else's

As others have said my main concern would be being approached by someone who had seen my face here, because of the nature of the site it's likely to attract more than its fair share of unsavoury characters.

I definitely see the risk there.

I'm lucky that due to my job not much phases me personally, i think if anyone was to approach the mrs it's not something i feel i couldn't deal with in a quick and practical manner.

Though i completely understand how it may be an intimidating prospect for others.

In this day and age the dangers are there whether through dating/swing sites or out on the town, even social media is rife with stalkers and online blackm*** currently.

Best thing we can all do is share experiences, build a trustworthy community and don't be afraid of outing the outers x

Our faces are on our friends only pics, we don’t like to show them, as we have small children and live in a area, where the people are not so down to earth, I don’t want someone’s narrowed minded views to effect my kids, I don’t want them to be the kids nobody is allowed to play with be because of their “ dirty “ parents.

I have none on my profile or friends pics, will send if someone messages & catches my attention after chatting for a while & always put tick to be removed after viewed,though have found it doesn't always work..

I keep my face pics private since I’ve seen how 2 separate people have been treated by some of my small minded work colleagues.

Unfortunately not everyone is tolerant, a lot are bigoted and some are downright nasty

I have the same view. I did see a lady who was part of a couple once in a supermarket, I would never approach as just dont think you should. So messaged them on here to say I saw her and she said you should have cone over and said hello! Still wouldn’t approach anyone. I don’t think most are of the same opinion as that lady.

For me there are different people on here those who’d like the idea of people knowing thinking they’re also on here, but then there’s those who would tell everyone while not mentioning they themselves were here, the ‘I was told’ types.

I decided to put my shrek looking mug on because what I'm doing isn't wrong illegal and I quite frankly don't give a toss what people think of me. If poeople want to be childish enough to gossip and snigger about me being on here, let them crack on. Having said that I can see why some people might be worried about weirdo's approaching them in a supermarket.

I guess make a choice between face pics or explicit ones and keep the others friends only or private. Fab isn’t really that different than other sites whether dating or social and no one should feel ashamed to be on here.

I'm the same. I would gladly upload body pics for my profile bit would only send face pics if someone messages.

I show my face regularly and I live in a fairly small place ,I don't care if I get recognised.My son (30)knows I am on here as do the friends I care about.
