FabSwingers.com forum: New Essex Event and Club Night?

So I've noticed that Essex seems to be a bit of a forgotten area when it comes to swinging, no clubs or organised meets/events both sexual or social (that I can find at least) so I'm quite curious to know if anyone in Essex would be keen for a regular organised club/event night based in Essex to be launched?

This is something I'd be quite eager to do myself. I have access to a handful of very nice venues around Upminster, Chelmsford and Southend with areas in each that are perfect to be used as play areas, I also know some VERY open minded DJ's that could play some great House music for everyone to dance, touch, admire and play along to, but is the demand even there for these sort of events in Essex?

Please make your interest known in the comments, if enough people want it then I'd love to get something going for all you sexy Essex people!

I think you'll find when there's an area without clubs it's often due to local councils not granting liscences or changing their rules rather than lack of demand

Essex had 3 venues but they've all closed over the last few years

I don't know how you'd get on with as hoc nights in venues etc but they'd have to consider their liscences too if play was involved as these things never stay quiet and they won't want to risk everything over the odd private hire

there have been several attempts over the years but all have failed usually licencsing and planning or too succesfull causing neighbours complaints

ideally you need a farm or large house remote with parking but not so remote people cant find it you can only run it as byob as once you want to sell alcohol its a minefield

parties at a house in Basildon run for a year destinies managed 2 or three most of the others were a couple of months max
