While looking on here today we can see socials being organised in other parts of the country but yet to see a Kent Social. We may have just missed it but are there any semi-regular socials in Kent?

We know there are clubs but we are more asking in reference to socials outside of a club setting.

Might be hard to get a hall booked for a load of swingers but if everyone knows a quiet pub where you can book a section off might be better??? And near a premier inn or travelodge where the fun can continue??

We'd be up for this too. There used to be one a Eureka I think, but we never went. We've been to a couple of fetish munches in pubs so it's definitely possible to book an area.

I know what you’re saying but the Heathrow and Croydon socials are held in pubs but with a club someone is going to have to lay out the money to book and to hire a club for the night is not going to be cheap and definitely not knowing who will actually turn up?

My thinking was to get an idea on numbers maybe try and limit it for the first couple of times and book a few tables or section of a pub and tell them we are just a social club and do it where there are hotels near if people want to play after???

I've done loads in the past and currently run a regular one.

All of you that want to go to one, start one! Find a pub with a private area, decide on how many you want for the space, set up a profile and away you go.

Don't bother with trying to gauge interest first, just advertise it. They will come.

Most of the single men who say they will come, won't or will want to meet outside the pub as they are scared to go in though.

The Potting Shed in Maidstone has a huge garden marquee seating area for when inside gets really busy. That may be worth considering as there’s generally plenty of space

There’s also the possibility of a small hotel with a social area not sure how feasible it would be but would mean people would have the option of staying over if they wanted a drink didn’t want to drive ....

Could also go alfresco bbq in a country park or a beach day few nudist beaches in Kent

You usually just have a munch mascot on your table. Something like a teddy should do it.

Thought we’d jump back and see how this thread was going lol.

So an idea (and it could be an awful idea was a cricket club bar. Lots of them are a nice size with plenty of green space outside should anyone want to chat Al fresco but also they are normally glad of business this time of year and don’t have other customers? Just an idea xx

There are quite a few places in Kent to hold one.

As said earlier, The Potting Shed is a great shout. It's far enough outside of Maidstone that you don't get the young rowdy crowds.

Or the George Vaults in Rochester has a good covered garden that can easily be blocked off. Does get busy though.

A lady tried setting one up a couple of years ago, but she was so worried about anyone local finding out she was a swinger it never really took off.

I would def be interested.

I would suggest limit it to maybe 30, first come first served basis, only message them the details a day or so before hand, if they do not respond then the next person gets the details if that makes sense.

I think anywhere with good public transport access, local hotels. Some jightlife in case people want to carry on afterwards. My first thought would be say Maidstone

Deffo interested in a kent one.. I go to the West London one (nr heathrow) and while its a good night out, its not so useful for making future connections, I dont always want to be travelling 1-2 hrs to meet someone, with hotel costs etc, if ya want to have a drink etc

We went to the Thanet Social and it was a thumbs up from us. Meet a few nice couples and a nice guy we just hope its still running come september when we are next here.
