It can go both ways! Spontaneous meets can be fun if you've lucked out and clicked with the right person, but equally sometimes you've not had the chance to really get to know them and if they are genuinely who they say they are.

Slower build up can really build the tension and make it all the more exciting when you do finally meet, but equally runs the risk of fading/burning out if the opportunity to meet doesn't materialise within a reasonable time?

Personally prefer a slow build up & that's normally what we go for but we have done a few spontaneous meets recently... they have been fantastic

90% of my meets are spontaneous meets arranged on the day, the others no more than 2/3 days in advance.

I will not plan any of my meets more than 3 days in advance.

Don't like too much of the build up but not into very spontaneous meets either, unless my other brain decides otherwise. She hardly ever gets in charge though lol.

I like a little bit of a chat beforehand, to establish connection and any potential "don'ts"- for both parties. But if everything is going well, I like to meet, for at least a social, relatively soon.

I did a spontaneous meet once on here and never again it was the worst and most scary meet I've had so no I won't do them again.

I prefer now when I am meeting to chat and get the know someone before I meet them and it can give you a better idea of the person and I've found red flags tend to show easier as well if you have chatted for a while.

But that's just me and I may have gotten unlucky with the person I met that time. I know plenty who do spontaneous and enjoy them .

Not really into slow build ups though, social then a meet pretty quick after that if possible.

Spontaneous meets with randoms have rarely been as fun and exciting as you imagined them, that heat of the moment thing can be short lived, and the play mechanical. I much prefer a scheduled meet with someone I know, trust, and can rely on. Far more intimate and enjoyable

In an ideal world I would want a bit of build up (no more than a week) but real world circumstances mean that we have to plan on advance quite a lot.

So we tend to have the long build up, which can be good (if the chemistry and flirtation is there and built upon) or not so great (when conversation runs a bit dry/dull,or there is no response to flirty comments that allows tension to be built)

I have a meet arranged for late April, and the build up is fantastic!!!! I think it is destined to be out of this world anyway, but it gets more and more exciting by the day which I think does enhance it!!! There is definitely a place for a last minute as well, but I'm loving the long build up more
