Sure. Because that totally wouldn't get abused or turn into one long awful slanging match. Just block the time wasters, report them, and move on.

Manchester (she/her)

Only if I can start with (example for demonstrative purposes only) you, OP, and how much you wasted my time and broke all your promises to me.

See how easy it is to just tell lies?

I don't agree

It would be abused, if someone is spiteful or dislikes another member whats to stop them from doing this.

I appreciate its frustrating when people mess you about, but if they genuinely waste your time then report and block them.

Also hard to differentiate between a time waster and someone who changes their mind

No because it is wide open to abuse and people getting named and shamed when they have done nothing wrong.I lost count of the times I was told I was fake because I told people I didn't want to meet or chat to them.

Fakes are easily spotted anyhow usually. As for timewasters it depends on people's definition of one, everyone has different ideas on what one is on here. That is also open to abuse tho so no I don't believe naming and shaming should be allowed.

Too open to abuse. Lots of time it’s very subjective.

Good point on mind changing. Ive bailed on one meet because their conduct on the run up put me off totally. Time waster? Nope. My body, my choice.

The only timewasters I've ever come across on here are those who don't read my profile and are therefore wasting their own time.

What would be gained from naming and shaming others?

People would be named and shamed in a broadbrush approach for all manner of stupid reasons and the forums would be full of threads by people having to defend themselves unnecessarily.

No, I think that is a childish thing to do and the thread would be open to abuse with names being put out there that shouldn't be. If someone does a no show with me or is not nice in messages then I just move on, yes a no show peeves me off but there could be lots of genuine reasons behind this.

Acceptance of what has happened, brush it off and move on.

I sort of don't blame singles for getting upset with no-shows and fakes etc., but as a couple, you've still got each other to enjoy the time with.

You seem very angry and frustrated OP, perhaps you're taking this place a bit too seriously?

My Own Little World

It is against site rules to name n shame, either on the forums, profile or status.

And having a section on the forums is just asking for trouble.

So just report and block and let Admin deal with it.
