What is uber sexy are high heel shoes with ankle straps. Maybe it's the slutty look of it. I think anklets are the same, very sexy.

They have all different meanings none of them are true though..you wouldn't look at a women down the assume she's a hot wife because she's wearing a anklet ..alof of myths

My dad grew up on the docks in the thirties and hates me wearing them be because the prostitutes on the docks wore them
