Manchester and that's all you need to know

I had a message from a man asking if I would meet him today after looking at his profile which said basically nothing I sent a no thank you only for him to call me a time waster.

It doesn't bother me but why am I the time waster when it was

A)Him that couldn't be bothered to read my profile and

B)Him that couldn't be bothered to write a profile longer than a one liner

Just ignore them, infact I tend to ignore anyone who's had experience with "timewasters" as in reality I don't deny they are out there but not in the frequency people say and wonder how much verification people do, and also if they accept that sometimes people genuinely have stuff come up at the last min?

Once we were actually paying the taxi driver dropping us off at a club when my phone went off to tell us to come home - we hadn't arranged a meet but I'm sure we'd have been labelled timewasters if we had.

I think it's more to do with people's expectations - which are all different. This fella in your case sees everyone who doesn't drop everything as a timewaster. Others see those that don't arrange meets after "x" number of emails/mins/seconds....and so it goes on. All will believe there right to think it.

We're all timewasters in somebody's eyes. Let em get on with it.

This is why we only do clubs, no expectation, no one gets hacked off if we have to cancel last min and no one has to change their plans. On the flip side if we arrange a meet for a club and they don't show, we're still having a night out.

When I have no intention of knowing the person, let alone to meet him, after he sent me an unsolicited message, I would respond if I feel like it based the quality of the message and my mood at the time, delete the message and then block him, to prevent any come back.

i once put on my profile that i was looking for a meet saturday night and could accom.a guy messaged me to say he'd love to meet me on saturday afternoon.when i told him i could only meet on the night,he put on his profile that i was a timewaster. i prefer to believe the verification system for my information.

people who have rants about time wasters on profiles i find are usually the time wasters in my expierence

as usually (in my expierence anyways) they got either something they dont tell or show you until you literally arranged to meet and then its a deal breaker

or they just carry on like doyles and think everyone else is the time waster when its that no one wants to deal with them after expeiricing how they conduct themselves over messages

bit of a generalisation but often the case i noticed

I was called a time waster once on another site. A guy messaged me but he hadn't sent a pic. I asked him for one, but I didn't like the look of him when he sent it - he looked really arrogant and alpha male, totally not my type, so I said I wasn't interested. He then plastered 'complete timewaster' all over my profile.

We had a mail from a cpl who attached pics, and just didn't rock our boats so we sent a message saying thanks for the mail but you're not for us. Sorry, and good luck xx

We got a pretty furious mail back asking us to explain why not, what's wrong with them and we're obviously wasting time as a pic collector!

Sigh.... I guess this is just something we all come across at some point

Omg my deleted post was full of automatic spell check spelling mistakes! He's the timewaster - not you. As an adult he should realise that we all have lives away from this site and other situations can arise which mean we can't always meet when we agree to. I take the Goldfinger adage - once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action (or bad luck lol)
