Some people decry anything hotel fun. infact I presume hotel meet is more discreet, secure and neutral environment.I don't know the reason why people dislike the idea.

To me I prefer hotel meet. What about you?

Each to their own I guess. Everyone has a preference.

To be fair, as couple who use hotels from time to time, it's true to say hotel prices did kinda sky rocketed last year which may have put some off.

Definitely not meeting single guys in a hotel, chances are they are married and hiding it from their wife, so that's not for us.

There's something dirty about meeting in a hotel - what's not to love??? I think it adds a hit of excitement, and you're not having to worry about neighbours or civi visitors turning up!

We hate hotels . It’s expensive ( seriously so these days ) , there’s the obligation , the expectation that because a room has been paid for that you’re committed to proceeding no matter what the other party has told porkers about ) , the paper thin walls , the walk of Shane past reception , etc etc .

Always hotel meet .

We do not prefer house meets as we wouldn't know what's hidden in there.

And I think clubs are the safest place of all for swingers.

There is no obligation to play.

Also before visiting a hotel, I am sure you must have had a no pressure social meet, to see if there's an attraction and consent to play.

I think it's also the expense of it all and plus from what I found out as well, all that effort could be in vain if someone pulls out at the last minute (not that kind of way lol). I get bookings can be changed and all that, but that's another load of sorting out to do isn't it?

1 Having to be sneaked in.

2 The expectation that sex is definitely on the cards.

3 Cost especially if you end up not clicking.

4 plus the feel that you are a prostitute.

We like hotel meets because:

We have an elderly relative living with us.

When meeting single guys you don't have to worry about some deranged bunny-boiler finding your address.

If we are having a social first the city is handy and a hotel is more convenient.

We’ve been let down by more people wanting hotel meets than anything else so tend avoid them. Plus the splitting the costs after sex makes it feel like an escort service rather than a bit of fun.

In my last relationship we would occasionally do hotel meets but always on the agreement that the other parties would not be spending the whole night in our room so should make their own accommodation arrangements. We generally preferred club or party situations though.

Here is an explanation why we generally don’t go for hotel meets. A few years ago we booked a very nice and expensive hotel room for a meet. We invited 3 guys to join us.

Two called off at the last moment.

The final guy sent a text saying he was just parking his car but strangely never appeared in the hotel. His profile vanished that night.

End result was we paid for an expensive room and ended up going to see a movie.

Fuck that we will stick to clubs from now on.

I like a hotel meet, only have to get myself ready and not worry about the rest of the house, the cats, the neighbours, anyone knocking the door. I find them more relaxed than being at home.

Been there done that is my answer...and I question the discreet side of things, when families use the same hotels. Either folk who meet aren't noisy lovers or nobody is into the kink side of play!

I think the biggest reason for couples being against hotel meets is the idea that the man they're meeting is cheating, and they don't want to become embroiled in that. Personally, while I can accommodate, I'm relieved when I'm invited to someone else's or a hotel room, because it saves me doing a lot of housework.

For us it’s always a hotel.

Club is ok but you can’t always get access to a private room due to it being used by others and do you really want to go into a room where other people have just done the business and it’s not properly wiped down?

Spontaneous meet is good for club but if it’s a well planned meet then hotel is preferred and we have some rules we always discuss prior to meeting someone in a hotel and feel communication is key, so all parties know where they stand.

Had some excellent hotel meets and can’t wait for more in the future.

Would never do it last minute spontaneously, As they’re more prone to letting you down. Build a connection and friendship, meet for a social before.

I do prefer hotels as at one meet at someone’s home they obviously didn’t possess a hoover! Another meet at someone’s home (this time my own fault for not asking beforehand) they were the crazy cat woman and I have an allergy to cat dander. Even my inhaler struggled to cope with that one and I had to leave being able to breathe properly again a little while later.

I personally prefer to accommodate but given the high risk of no shows on Fab, to either travel or book a hotel is risky financially.

I have heard too many accounts of couples making all the arrangements: grandparents looking after the children,hotel booked a building the sense of anticipation; only to be let down by some horrible person or couple.

This is us too. Meeting at a club means you can enjoy each other if things go well, but needn’t spoil your evening if it doesn’t.

Surely couples into candaulism would be better in a club with spectators if they prefer? Or in a locked room if that's what they prefer? We must be lucky in that we've never seen a raucous crowd in 5 years of going to clubs.
