I've been curious what it's like to take viagra. There are times when I wish I could be hard again very quickly after having an orgasm. Are all brands good? is one pill too much for a lunchtime or afternoon session? How long does it take to work and for the effects to disappear?

If you do not suffer from erectile dysfunction viagra will be of very little use to you.

It does not affect the refractory period (the time it takes for people to go again).

In some men it does lead to delayed orgasm, so they can “go for hours” but thats not always the case.

As for when to take it, usually about an hour before you expect to engage in play. It’s effects last for about 4 hours. That doesn’t mean you have a 4 hour erection only that the drug effects last for about 4 hours. Taking it with food can decrease its effectiveness.

There are other ED meds that have longer durations and can be taken sooner.

Ultimately though I wouldn’t suggest taking them unless your Dr prescribed them. There can be quite serious side effects and drug interactions.

I have been taking it for about 8 years now. I don't need to take it but do when a lady friend and myself want a long session. Take it about 2 hours before and try not to drink too much alcohol, I find it gives me a banging headache next day otherwise. Its a kind of insurance policy for me as I have a very greedy lady friend, it gives you the stiffest stiffy ever. Take it Saturday night you still get aftershocks on Wednesday.

I would listen to a few points of view, I personally think it does make getting and staying hard easier 2nd time around and most people don't have side effects. Try a half dose and see how you get on

Effects will be different for everyone. I've used it hoping for quicker recovery, but it makes fuck all difference. I have no problem getting hard without it, but I do find it makes me harder. It increases dehydration which is where the headaches come in

Exactly. Different people will have different experiences depending on why they are taking it. ED can have psychological or physiological causes, and this will also determine how effective ED treatments are.

Another consideration is the dosage people take as it can be prescribed in 25mg, 50mg and 100mg, but I believe the OTC is 50mg.

I’ve taken viagra and several other ED drugs over the years due to nerve damage and circulation issues and have found:

I used to get the headaches and stuffy nose but not so much anymore.

I have found that its effects can last into the next day. I used to joke I got better effects the day after taking than the day I took it.

I have found it does lead to delayed/lack of orgasm, which does mean you should talk with your partner as they can take that as a negative sign (you don’t find me attractive etc.)

I can’t say I have noticed any reduction in the refractory period, but then we have longer meets so I don’t feel the need to get hard straight away.

Ive taken various types over the years and in my experience they dont make you any harder than normal if you are not fully in the mood. If you are in the swing of things they are great, harder for longer and can go again soon after.

As people have said the effects can last into the next day and only side effects ive had are slight headache and a stuffy nose.

There are very good natural pills on the market. You will have to try a few and decide which one works best for you. Some come on really strong and last for 4 to 8 hours. Others take longer to come on but can last up to 24 hrs.

All ingredients that have been used by humans for thousands of years. They also have less side effects than the pharmaceutical crap.

Also cheaper and no medical questions.

Other alternatives which are not currently discussed on here are generic Levitra pills vardenafil.they are really good alternative to the gen viagra.last same time around 5 hrs max.less side effects I have found.get them in 20 mg or stronger 40 mg.

I don't suffer from ED and am still able to get a large hard erection in my early 70s. The problem came when I rolled on the condom, I'd lose the edge off my erection and be unable to penetrate my partner - frustrating for them and embarrassing for me. One (male) partner suggested I try Viagra, and I got some generic tablets from a recommended source.

I now take 1/2 a tablet an hour before sex, and I've had no problem anally fucking around 200 partners since. The only side effects are slight, sometimes a partially blocked nose or muzzy head which soon clear. It's great being able to fuck again
