Does persistence get the guy/lady/couple or do you get fed up and move on? Does it annoy you that a certain person doesn't give up or do you find it flattering?. I was persistent with someone from here, it paid off in the end but I often wonder of the shoe was on the other foot would I have been annoyed/flattered.

Depends on the situation. If it was someone telling me to get to the doctor to check a mole out it's fair.

If it's someone on here who I've said no to but they keep messaging trying to get me to chat then

Fine line between persistant and then being seen as pushy/desperate more often than not on here leads to blocking especially for single male

If they tick the boxes then yes !. It's refreshing to find someone put some effort into meeting you, however long it takes. Chatting again with a local guy now who first messaged 7 months back, clearly interested and not just looking for an easy lay

Persistent as in they've been told no and won't accept it? They get a block for that.

If their profile is almost empty and they keep sending one-liners or dick pics then I get annoyed pretty quick. I tend to allow 3 messages before I block in the hope that they will write something more interesting in the 2nd or 3rd attempt... so far, most people stop at 2 messages if I havent replied.

Persistance only works for me when someone i was interested in but lost in my inbox sends a polite follow up message a few days later, or when the second message contains additional information not on their profile/in previous messages.

Oh, for all those who think i should reply to everyone - that would be lovely, but I just dont have time to do that.

I always presume it will annoy rather than flatter, I never send a message more than once to the same person and even if we've been chatting I would maybe send a second after a day or two then stop, it' usually an indication they are not interested. I wouldn't like to get a meet just because I pestered someone into submission.
