Why can't we name and shame time wasters?

My wife and i have been messaging two couples, one of them said they were fed up of time wasters then it turned out they were the time wasters. Another guy messaged me saying i won't let you down, yeah right mate.

So why can't name and shame these idiot time wasters? If people know who they are then they can be avoided.

Whos definition of 'time waster' would be the standard? People changing their minds is not time wasting, it's just people changing their mind.

We spend very little time on here talking to people prior to a social meet, that way, very little time is ever wasted.

Everyone has a different definition of a timewaster.

People who don't read my profile are only wasting their own time not mine but naming and shaming would and has been abused by many on here.

I've seen people leave the site because they were called out on a status update despite having done nothing wrong apart from saying no to a popular woman.

I hate time wasters myself but 3x ive gad to cancel on the day for genuine reasons, first my dog that was 18yrs old but fine on the Thursday suddenly couldn't walk in the friday & sadly had to be out to sleep so I was in no fit state for that nights meet & the other 2 were womens problems/periods, when women get to a certain age sometimes our bodies don't work like clockwork the way they used to, I suddenly came on & my periods were bad (i actually stopped meeting after the second time it happened) there's no way I could be dressing up in sexy lingerie, I was mortified having to explain the reason but figured the truth was better than a lie, I said they could still come over for a social & maybe a BJ but I wouldn't be sexy dressed I got called all sorts by both told I was probably a bloke lying etc

Totally agree it was fustrating but it genuinely wasn't my fault

Having kids as we do does make it difficult to commit at times. We were due to meet a guy, had met for a social and he was just what we wanted, but had to pull out last minute due to ex partners messing us around.

Felt real bad but he doesnt know if we are being honest or not. So we would no doubt have been labelled time wasters for that one.

Sometimes life happens, but i realise that ghosting or blocking is purely a time waster in action.

God only knows...some couples on here just to please their partners too not really interested to meet.they get aroused by teasing females,shag each other and thats them done

It's a difficult one I would say stick to people with good ' reviews' it's a big thing to commit yourself to someone in advance, sometimes you just change your mind as you don't feel like it, it does happen. So far we hardly ever cancel meets and one of the reasons being we tend to arrange last minute meet ups. Having family sometimes just other things get in the way. I can understand it's very annoying when you book a hotel and look forward meeting that special person you wanted to meet for so long!

Our hope is to meet a few folk and stick to them, we dont want to shag the whole of scotland. Just a few friends to meet up with, have a laugh and a giggle and some adult fun. Im sure thats going to take a long time to establish

We would advise you to be more savvy in who you exchange messages with. Those well verified are far less likely to be time wasters. But of course genuine newbies may not have many veris.

Some people do name and shame alleged timewasters in their status updates I see this quite often.

I do wonder about the validity of them though as it's their word against the so called timewasters.

For me time wasters are the fakes. I'm keen on meeting an inexperienced couple but so many seem to be single blokes getting off over showing their wife off (likely without permission) but by the time I realise communication is going no further it just seems like wasted effort. I know it's a risk I take but it's frustrating.

I think we have a different approach to this whole thing than others. I always see people saying no to have any expectations when you go to a club so we’ve applied that to chatting with people also and even if we got so far as arranging a meet, we still wouldn’t have any expectations. Any of us can change our minds at any time, I’d rather someone spoke up and stopped what was happening than go ahead with something they might regret or aren’t sure about. I wouldn’t ever see it as a waste of time because that’s making it all about the end goal of getting your end away and this isn’t about that for us. If someone called us time wasters because we changed plans with them, I wouldn’t be happy because it feels like guilt tripping and it is also saying you aren’t worth speaking to unless you’re going to fuck them. Even if you’ve agreed between you from the very outset that you’re only speaking to meet and have sex, everyone is entitled to change their mind without being made to feel shit about it. If we arranged a meet and one of us got nervous and we cancelled it or if something genuinely came up so we couldn’t make it, I’d be horrified to see us being slated on here by someone we’ve made the effort to get to know.

Just my thoughts.

Odd one this, judge, jury and executioner from a single perspective is flawed.

Get an answer you don’t like and they hang.

When I engaged in an exploration in a D/d dynamic I had to cancel the first three meeting. So glad for both of us I wasn’t hung out to dry.

I think quite a few people take this approach also including me.

I haven't sent a first contact message in 2 years and I'm more than happy to take the time to chat to respectful people.

Not everyone I've chatted to lives in Ireland, therefore in a lot of cases there is zero chance of us ever meeting but I don't see any of that as time wasting.

My only expectation on here is that people are prepared to talk to me as equals rather than as just a number or a speaking cock.

The challenge is set out in my profile very clearly for anyone getting in touch.

If they think they know a shortcut they are going to get lost.

If they are up for the challenge we may never get there but part of the fun is the journey.

As I said previously, the only timewasters are those who don't read and respect my profile and they are only wasting their own time.
