If your current relationship (presuming you're in one!) ended and you fell in love with a non-swinger, could you be monogamous?

I don't feel like I could. This just feels normal to me now and monogamy feels (tbh) slightly ridiculous. But, obviously, that's just me.

What about you?

Yes, I could, was, am, will be. It all goes through stages. Once I find what I'm looking for - I stick with it and happy being monogamous. Once that ends - it's kind of impossible to be monogamous while searching.

I've tried giving up in the past and it didn't work for me. Its why when I started dating again I made a point of avoiding women on dating sites who were monogamous or have monogamy an option.

We haven't played for around 3 years now, covid sort of plays a part with that but basically lost interest in it, we still enjoy the forums but that's about it for now.

I have met quite a few couples since I first joined Fab some years ago and they have been among the most loving and well adjusted I have ever met.

Although my wife is not with me on here she is free to seek her own fun and that decision has brought us even closer. So, I don't think a monogamous relationship could work for me in the future.

Totally .... i met my husband on an adult site we married and were totally monogamous for 9 years .he didnt want to share me he just adored me ..if he hadnt died we still would be .

I’m single and I swing. However, if I did fall in love with a non-swinger I would be monogamous, and very happily so. NSA/swinging is fun, but it’s just hollow sex at the end of the day. Love, however, is not. Just my opinion.

Good question! I guess we are all here because we believe having sex with more than one person is fabulous. Ideally I am looking for a woman who is experienced and enjoys swinging. I have had that desire all my life and I don’t think that is going to change.

Women who swing are fun and adventurous! That’s deeply attractive to me!

Whilst we enjoy the thrill of others we could be monogamous. Visiting clubs doesn't mean we always play with others we enjoy the social side of swinging as much as the sex. Being with more relaxed people. The vanilla side we find has much more emphasis on status, be it clothes your wearing, car your driving even the phone your using you appear so much more judged than with swingers.

That's an interesting response. Thanks.

For me, swinging has *never* been 'just hollow sex.' However, I have only ever done it as part of a couple, so that could be why.

Plus, it is precisely because I love my partner that I would never ask/want them to be monogamous. They will always be free.

The last 3 Ladies I have dated have known about my profile and my history, but weren’t interested so I deleted my profile. Quite happy having monogamous sex as long as it’s fulfilling, if it’s not then it’s not the right relationship for me.

I think that would be though. Swinging isn't everything. But part of a good relationship to me is being able to be yourself and be loved for who you are. I enjoy sexual freedom (knowing I have it even if I'm not exercising it) and not being made to feel bad for my sexual desires or exercising them. And more so love being able to share my sexual desires with my woman.

For me personally if I felt like I had to "give up" swinging I know I'd start to feel trapped and over time it would lead to unhappiness for all.

I have big cravings for bicurious and cuckold couples so when I met my two poly partners I was very upfront about this desire.

Ironically because I have the freedom to meet couples by myself I haven't got around to it yet. Knowing that I can is important to me though and has taken the edge of my sense of urgency.

I could not go back to being monogamous. I meet my partner on Fab, he knows that I am still active on Fab. If we did break up I would rather stay single then give up swinging.
