There’s different levels of time wasters imo. I’ve experienced the very worst. Arranged a hotel meet several weeks in advance, said they will be there in 1 hour and never showed up.

Yes yes we know go for ones who will

Talk on phone, have recent verification etc etc and still had no shows.

There are time wasters everywhere. Sometimes I have to cancel a meet last min, but do communicate with the person (so far has only happened once). I’ve I’m not interested in meeting a guy, I tell him straight up! I’ve just told a guy we won’t be meeting and his reply was that I’m a fake profile haha - guess I’m viewed as a time waster for saying I don’t want to meet…

If we like the look and sound of someone, we arrange a social as soon as possible, without much chat beforehand.

Niki doesn't get involved at all, other than looking at any pictures I show her - to say yea or nay.

She used to get involved, but is now convinced Fab is a waste of time, I'm a little more patient

Sadly iv heard this to often on here where because a woman has declined them they instantly assume that your fake and time waister.

I think an awful lot of people on here browse profiles and pictures and then send messages to see if they get a response and basically get off on that without any intention of meeting anyone. Exactly the same on both fab sites.

The only time wasters I've encountered are those who don't read my profile or think it doesn't apply to them.

They aren't wasting my time though, just their own.

I've never had a no show or been one and I don't consider chats that run out of steam as time wasted.

I've had conversations that panned out, I've had conversations that haven't.

Still got a few ongoing with people becoming friends. Never felt any of these chatters wasted my time as I chose to interact for however long that is.

Also if you find that you are continually experiencing no shows it may be time to look at the common denominator which can often be the way you vet those you chat to.

The vast majority of people on here have a positive experience and don't have repeat no shows.

I think them that are fake or timewasters stand out a mile. They’ll trip up with messages somewhere along the way. The amount of couples that aren’t even a couple on here is just crazy. It’s normally just a single bloke trying to get past the single guys blocked button. It doesn’t matter to me as I don’t have single guys blocked anyway. I’d sooner them be honest at the start of the conversation. I’ve not had any meets for a long while but if and when I do it’ll be where I’m comfortable/feel safe and if I get a no show I can still have a good night out

I think rather than the fact that they sign up with the intention of wasting people's time, it's more reality kicking in.

In my experience when I first started out on here years ago, I would fantasise about all kinds of scenarios and then get chatting to people and those scenarios would get more real until you get to the point of actually going and it does get nerve wracking. I would never not turn up, even if I was too nervous to perform and had to rely on my other skills

I just think a lot of people are fantasists and then it all gets too real.

Not that it's an excuse to let people down of course.

these fake profiles of couples and women are so easy to spot guys stop thinking about your balls being full for a sec and think as in the real world then you'll see but many wont as they will lets there balls do the thinking .... if its to good to be true then it normally is ...its not rocket science men have it hard on here and will go to almost any length to feel satifyed mainly wanking to a fantasy when the wife is out or in bed

the problem will always be the same too many men not enought women and couples that leaves an awful lot of wankers in the nicest term possible ... hence the games get played ..

but also it nearly always men moaning about timewasters why ? if your consantly being stood up then you need to look at yourself and see what needs changing why are you consantly falling in these's traps ....

Very interesting views and opinions here with a wide range of experiences.

For me what I consider as timewasters I meant as in when you chat with someone for a good long while. (By that I mean at least a month or 2). Then arrange to meet up (which they agree to), and after all the effort has been made (groomed and dressed, have the place ready, or even book a hotel) they don't show up or even send you a message as to why they couldn't come.

That's a definition of a timewaster to me.

At this point I've just lost the enthusiasm to do anything knowing how more often than not people will be doing exactly this.

I know not everyone is like that (as some of you do have a very active swinging life and even go to clubs), but I'd say a good percentage of people here are all talk and no show.
