I've read that on a few profiles now. Never really puts me off messaging someone, but I do wonder if people quiety pass judgement without having it mentioned on their profiles?

I’ve got loads of veris, but most of them are social ones, rather than meet ones.

I would rather meet someone with fewer verifications. I also like to look through the persons verifications and won’t meet if I feel they just meet “anyone”. In fact, a guy I was seeing has recently “shown” his verifications and I’m kinda shocked as the women he’s been meeting are very different to the women he claims he meets.

I am selective in who I meet (in and out of fab) and do prefer the guy is also selective. It’s fine if he’s not, but then he’s not the guy for me.

Its a good question but like already said not every verification is a play meets a lot are socials and most of ours play meets are from a small cycle of play mates and few very good friends.

But most of all if we are judged the people judging wouldn't be for us anyway!

My ex and I lived a very Fab public life and were often on cam on our couples profile. It meant we ended up with literally 100s and 100s of verifications, and it totally got in the way of our plans to meet, people just saw a number and thought 'they're an easy pair, low standards, etc'.

We've gone our separate ways now, but I know she doesn't show her verification summary for that reason. Doesn't matter that meet verifications we're less than 15, just a high number put people off.

I have 5 these days, regathered from a past time here and a couple of new ones. I think people should pay more attention to who they are chatting to than a number that is quite misleading.

Why should we be judged by the number of verifications we have??? This is supposed to be a swingers site? Where people are supposed to meet others, for socials, or play, or visit clubs, be part of the lifestyle? Not where people are supposed to choose just one or two people they meet and be exclusive to them (unless that's what floats their boat).

I am very much part of the lifestyle, love the fact that I now have a group of friends I can have a laugh and a chat with, but who I may also have great sex with. And not planning on changing that any time soon just because some snowflakes on a swingers site may be uncomfortable with however many verifications I have.

Well said Bluebell, I must admit that these days, unless they have recently joined the site, and not had time to get a well referenced CV together, I won't meet anyone unless they are well verified, and preferably with their verifications spread over a number of years, as that lets me know that I'm dealing with like minded people with whom I'm far more likely forge a long term friendship, and not the narrow minded and judgemental brigade, or single women masquerading as swingers, who seem to using the site like it's a straight dating site with the ultimate aim of securing the whole package.

So, unless people have a meeting verification you don't meet them and call others a "narrow minded judgemental brigade"?

Some of us refuse to tell the world who we have met and what we did and how many times because we believe what we do stays with us.

We are often berated by others for not putting verifications on but that is our decision, the same as it is peoples decision to put on as many as they want.

We judge people by messages, video and meetings, no verifications which as sometimes not true.

Hopefully we are less narrow minded that some on here

For us the verification system on Fab is what really makes it work. We always scan through the Veri's before messaging as a way of seeing if we really do have mutual interests or even mutual playmates. The more Veris - the more comfortable you clearly are with the Fab lifestyle and more likely we are to hit it off.

If you come back on here with a new profile, it seems by what some have said, that technically you will be avoided at all costs.

The irony though - those people could of clubbed in that time of disappearing, met a few regular people at clubs and had sex every weekend. Which makes them more genuine with no verifications to prove it....

Personally I found it really hard getting off the ground with no verifications, now I have a couple from the meets I have had its much easier...

I don't have verifications from every meet for sure but that doesn't matter as its not a "body count"

I use the verifications for curiosity to see what others think, but regardless of the amount, low or high, I make my own assumptions and I don't let that influence me

We look for verifications to check that the person seems to meet our criteria.

No veris or one or two old ones is bad for us but if he’s apparently screwing anything with a pulse then that’s a no also.

More veri’s gives us more opportunity to assess.

think veri's actually need to be read. if theres 10 veris but they all social or cams then its not really a big deal.

Also people seem to forget that you can have sex with someone not on fab and get no veri's left! Minimum veri's doesnt mean the person is "clean" at all.

I think you need to go off more then just Veri's me personally when looking to meet but each to their own

I think it depends on what the verifications are for. Someone might have hundreds but when you actually read them you see that most are from clubs/socials where they might have chatted to (& been verified by) a dozen people in one evening.

We’ve been to parties, a festival, met people for socials, been on group socials so it’s natural our verifications are going to rack up, even if we haven’t played.

To us verifications are there to show that person is real.

How many they have is irrelevant as they might just be social like us

I don’t see how it matters how many veries people have as a lot could be social or even at a club. Also people can hide the number of veries as well as what’s been put, who would know then?

We always take the time to look at the verifications. The number doesn’t bother us, quite often people have loads but a high percentage are socials from people they’ve met at clubs, parties etc.

We are put off if there are profiles that have loads which are all meets but each to their own. If they’re having a good time then good on them.

We have lots of meet verifications and webcam verifications. We are a very active swinging couple and go out to Chams most weekends, so therefore yes we meet and play with lots of different people, however, we won't and don't just play with anyone, if there is no physical attraction or other attraction.

Isn't the swinging scene all about that.....SWINGING?? so obviously the longer we have been on the scene (14 years) 9 years on here. Then verifications will mount up. We never actively seek people from here though, we meet some absolutely gorgeous people who can't be doing with this site.

It comes from a couple who have been on here over a year, who are, supposedly, meeting, yet nobody tried to verify? As no green tick at all, just the "photo verified". I smell something fishy here...

Don't publish ours, it's our business meet us don't meet us who cares. Doesn't make a difference how many or little someone has to us either. Someone could have loads for going on cam or meeting at club's, or not many as they started a new account and ditched all their old veris, or 100s of meets on another site instead of fab. Could have had numerous partner's from night's out, who will ever be able to tell for sure.

I have no verifications and am frankly not too bothered. I am what I am and if something happens then great, if not then nothing lost. Personally I don't tend to pass over couples with lots of verifications, instead my hope is for a novice couple, preferably with none so I can be the first. Therefore they are useful as it gives a good overview of that couple along with their profile. Great for swingers into clubs and the general lifestyle and great for those of us looking for something more exclusive. A win-win.

Well said Bluebell, I must admit that these days, unless they have recently joined the site, and not had time to get a well referenced CV together, I won't meet anyone unless they are well verified, and preferably with their verifications spread over a number of years, as that lets me know that I'm dealing with like minded people with whom I'm far more likely forge a long term friendship, and not the narrow minded and judgemental brigade, or single women masquerading as swingers, who seem to using the site like it's a straight dating site with the ultimate aim of securing the whole package.

So, unless people have a meeting verification you don't meet them and call others a "narrow minded judgemental brigade"?

Some of us refuse to tell the world who we have met and what we did and how many times because we believe what we do stays with us.

We are often berated by others for not putting verifications on but that is our decision, the same as it is peoples decision to put on as many as they want.

Personally I see verifications as a way of seeing how genuine people are.

Been on over a year and no verification puts you in the fantasy group, no issue with that at all, each to their own.

In total I've had 55-60 veries spread over 4 profiles and 5 years. Only 7 of those have been play related so I could easily be accused of being a timewaster based on those percentages.

The only reason a profile with large numbers of veries would put me off is that I prefer to meet people who are in a similar place on their journey to where I am and have no interest in meeting anyone who is vastly more experienced as we wouldn't be compatible.

I think that's a bit harsh, I've been in here since Nov 19 with no meetings but three months after I joined we went into lockdown! I know things were easing up a bit (although maybe not!) but that does need to be taken into account before casually writing everyone off as a fantasist. Personally I'm happy to meet up with the right couple at the right time and place and if that takes time then so be it.

such an odd thing to be at odds with we are swingers having sex with others is at its core ?? we have as a couple had 28 years on the scene and met lots of people so i dont get this oh you have too many veri's ...

however i do agree with what someone has said about who they have been with that can change minds in an instant

Although occasionally you see a profile that have been a new user (not a previous user with new profile) 2 weeks and has verifications in double figures. When I see this I think wow, your smashing it.
