"You may have 1000s friends on facebook but how many of them u actually talk to? I found it weird even in neighborhood bearly qnyone would say hi... at this place i live over 2yrs and one person said hi back" Social media can emphasise loneliness. There really is only one way to overcome isolation and feelings of loneliness and that's to put yourself out there. It can be daunting and you might have to try various things but nobody is going to knock on your door and ask to be your friend. I've seen people mention Meetup (I think it's called)a group where people meet socially, would something like that appeal? | |||
