How far would you travel for a meet?

I travel a lot for work, but its extremely rare I'll need anyone from here while I'm away.

When I'm "back home", it depends really. Probably up to an hour maybe?

Not very. Same city, maybe the next nearest. Can't afford to travel, especially when people are so unreliable.

Such a loaded question as its all about the chat and vibe you get from people aswell as opportunity and timing but I have done over a 2 hrs drive in the past for the right people

Why should there be a limit on how far you travel ? We will arrange nights out in various places if we have made friends in certain areas .

We just traveled to Gran Canaria and arranged to meet a woman there before we went , that’s a few thousand miles. We have also put a status up saying we are looking for a particular meet next weekend. And we are happy to travel anywhere in Uk really if the other person is what we are looking for.

If someone says only meet with in an hour would you then not meet someone who is perfect for you that lives 1 hour 10 mins away?

If your just meeting for a shag I guess it may not be worthwhile travelling far. But for an experience and a memory the more effort you make the better it will be .

For the right person/meet I’d probably travel anywhere in the country.

If someone I want to meet then don't really worry about the driving, even going to the local shops is a 20 mile drive so it's all relevant. I drive 3 hours when have to go into the office so that is fine if going to enjoy someone's company

Look at it slightly differently. We will travel quite long distances because we enjoy travelling and visiting places, we do it anyway, if we could tie in with the right meet, bonus!

Exception is local and usually a first social in a pub

Depends on the meet, for couples I’ll travel a lot further than singles! Longest was 2.5 train ride ah

Why would you travel further for a couple rather than a single lady?

Never Never Land

I can travel upwards of 4 hours. I always plan other things while I’m there ie sight seeing etc, that way should they be one of the many no shows I still have something to do.

We won't go more than an hour - and that's due to Char's health issues. Chemo has left her with bad fatigue and surgery has left her in almost constant pain. An hour traveling and she needs four hours rest unfortunately.

Similarly, we won't arrange anything with anyone that has to travel more than an hour or so to us, or who has to buy train tickets, as Char's been known to have to cancel with just a few hours notice and that's not fair if someone's half way to us or a train fare out of pocket.

Not a FAB meet, but once drove Liverpool to Nottingham, just to have a Lady sit on my face. We had been chatting for a while and got on great. Nowadays, Im looking for someone local.

I don't drive so all meets would need to come to me (if I was meeting on 1:1 basis). As I prefer regular meets rather than one-offs, anything more than 40 miles/one hour drive is not feasible.
