What is it that makes it fun to play in the day for you. I'm not a night owl so by the time 9 pm comes I'm ready for bed!! But afternoon play in the day I love but most of my friends are working.

It's when I am most awake and feeling ready to go again and again!

Yeah I feel full of energy then...

Rarely have a full night's sleep and nearly every day up at 5.30am...

Morning/afternoon fun fits into my lifestyle better.

Daytimes are much more fun, think from years of having partners with kids so school hours was play time

Funny how we are all different .

I’m not that keen on day play unless it’s following a night of fun, like making a weekend of it,

Usually during the day my mind is constantly racing with stuff/work that needs doing.

I’m very much a night owl though , I work a mixture of nights and days and I’m far more efficient and active at night .

My day starts early being on a farm I have to be up and on with feeding. I am often jealous of people who get up when they want but then look out on what I have and feel better!!

I agree, I am a classic "lark" so daytime (even early morning meets) are my preference.

And there is something slightly naughty about daytime midweek play, when everyone else is hard at work!

Daytime is just a bit more edgy, like there's a bit of a wrongness to it. It probably comes from the old values of working during the day till 5, so if I'm humping at 11:30 when previously I would have been at work, it feels like a bit of a win. I now work 3/3 so I can do it anytime I want - fantastic.

Daytime play/meets are so different from night meets. I like both but daytime feels exciting, planned and less spontaneous.
