We chat with many people on here, and the thing we've noticed is the number of people, who block our age, even when they're only a few years younger.

We've also noticed that many older people must lie about their age, because in their pics show differently.

For age it doesn't matter, but for many it does, does anyone think this reduces the chance of fun for all?

It reduces your chances of fun if they have blocked your age.

It is a positive for them as they don't want to fuck you. So actually it's a positive for both of you. Surely you wouldn't want to fuck someone who isn't attracted to you?

I’ve just got used to it now — as a single older guy my chances are even more reduced

. But so far I have found enough lovely sexy people on here that are genuine and who like to have fun - and some are quite a lot younger than me

Mine are "optimistically" a wide range and being Frank (that's not me real name lol), that age old adage of "age is but a number" is particularly true when it comes to consenting adults seeking fun

I have a blanket ban on anyone within 10 years of my kids ages. It's not my loss or theirs because they aren't what I'm looking for.

Age isn't just a number, it's a fact. How you act regardless of age is something completely different.

There are 30 year olds with more sexual experience than 50 year olds so age does not always equal experience or body confidence. That's a myth that people like to peddle.

I agree age filters are a bit of a blunt instrument (and I now certainly fall foul of the 'no over 40s' more than I'd like), but there is better system. Everyone having the default age setting would simply lead to more wasted messages for everyone.

If you generally don't find people of a certain age group attractive, then the filter helps, even if there might be some who look older/younger who might slip through the net, so to speak.

No, I usually look at verifications and more often than not they’re clearly not looking for someone of my age so I leave them in peace. My objection is that they flood search results regardless of what range you might be looking for yourself.

Met someone in Gran Canaria in October who I’ve had some fun times with (there and since we came home) but when he looked me up on here he said “I can’t message you, I’m outside your age range”. I haven’t changed my parameters but it did make me wonder…

Hi op. I rarely make the first move on here with couples as I tend only to play with them at clubs and parties where I feel safe. Although I can’t therefore see their ages in person - tbh I’m not generally attracted to anyone older than me - although there’ve been one or two notable exceptions.

I myself meet people as young as their early thirties - but don’t get remotely upset if I like a couple or single guy and I’m not what they’re looking for. It’s just how it is. Most people with a vagina on here do a darned sight better than those with a penis - trust me!

If I meet someone in a club, and they look and act around my age range and we click, then I'm more than happy to play...

Personally knowing someone is young enough to be my child or old enough to be my parents age makes me feel uncomfortable...

This subject has come up for discussion a few times, not just on here but when socialising with friends. We all draw the same conclusion, and this is that yes, people do have age settings, but those of us who have had a fulfilling sex life, are happy to grow old disgracefully secure in the knowledge that we've been there, seen it, done it, got the tee shirt, worn it, and put it in the bin, aren't bothered by it. Also there are many people who have age settings to prevent their inbox filling up, but if certain types of mature people are within people's comfort zone, and you tick their boxes, mostly I find by being able to accommodate in clean, safe, and comfortable surroundings, overnight if required, they'll find you! So just go with the flow.

The subject does come up alot on here and we get mixed responses - but whatever sex you are, if your on here it's not to collect knitting patterns, it is to meet new people and experience a variant sexual lifestyle.

I'm 52, my upper age limit is 56. So you might say I am missing out but very rarely do I find that I have a connection with a guy older than me. But if I get along with someone in the forum, I've messaged. I've done this several times. Isn't the idea to make the site work for me?

age doesn't matter too much for me but I do have a thing about no older than my parents

and the whole lieing about your age thing I think a lot of men who I've been messaged by either had a, rough life or are lieing
