Hi many people have been given the wrong address for a meeting. I was today I could see them peeking through the bedroom curtains of a house nearby they were in Salford Manchester

I once was asked to attend a pub for a quick drink with a couple before going to a spa not far from the pub. I turned up and I sent messages saying I was in the pub and I got no response until next day to say they were in a different pub and that they forgot to message me that they had changed their mind about what pub they were going to be in.

When on a couples account about 3 years ago. Was given an address but we knocked on the wrong door. Fortunately nobody was in as we were dressed for the occasion.

Both parties when we did meet thought we were both time wasters. It was blah blah road west and we went to east. Check the address you're going to.

I have seen reports of couples where one or both is aroused by the idea of swinging, but doesn’t want to go all the way. So they’ll arrange meets, do everything right, but bail at absolutely the last second. It’s enough of a turn on, knowing that they /could/ have gone all the way.

So, OP, you might have contributed to their frenzied love making, you just weren’t around to enjoy it in person.

They’re still dicks though.

I had something similar sometime back. It was a town centre meet and when I said hi they pretended it wasnt them... They later text to apologise and claim the wife got scared.. Can you believe they tried to meet again?

OP it is horrible how low some people will stoop to get their kicks on here.

It will happen far less to people that embrace the social side of swinging.

Always meet for a social first. Time wasters and freaks will fall at this hurdle.

Some will agree, but not show up. Agree somewhere that you can have a quiet coffee/tea/whatever so that if they fail to show it's not a big deal

Happened to me once, was just about to knock on the door and noticed a child through the window, opted against knocking, unfortunately as I walked away a very large man came and confronted me saying that I’d scared his son, I apologised to him, explained that I realised I had gotten the wrong place so chose not to knock, said I was picking something up I’d bought of FB marketplace.

He bought it, we shook hands and I walked away, as I did, I noticed curtains moving from another house, clearly someone watching me, as I looked up, they moved quickly away pulling the curtain shut.

I waited a little while, curtain moved again, I’m still watching and they closed the curtain quickly again, I knew it was my supposed meet. I’ll be honest, I wondered if I should go knock, but knew they wouldn’t answer, I sent them a message explaining that sending me to a house with a child was outrageous and blocked them.

Very hot day front door wide open and what i thought was the correct address was a what looked like naked guy sat on a sofa

Just about too knock on the door when a woman and child walked out of the kitchen took one look at me and when i said where i was looking for she said it was the flat further down the path

Happened to me. As a single woman, It's actually quite a danger type of thing to do. Can't believe some guys out there deemed it appropriate behavior towards a woman.

I knocked and a complete stranger opened the door. Looked nothing like the guy I had been speaking weeks with.

Another time, I pulled up outside his house. I messaged to confirm said numbered house was his. He replied actually no then laughed. He then told me to get out of my car and walk up and down his road. He'll be watching me from his actual house.

. Absolute weirdo!

So out of order. It's hard enough as a genuine single woman on here. I drive at my own expense and time. No cost at all to them. Yet I too have been timewasted.

Gave a guy our address, described in perfect detail the directions AND the amount of houses to pass by on our lane, the guy totally messed up by not concentrating, landed into the first house which was my parents

Why people arrive at an address, I'm not sure why they don't message to confirm door number before even getting out of their car to knock?! Would save this kind of embarrassment for you and them

Absolutely awful. It’s such a huge risk going to someone’s house. I always try and arrive beforehand, confirm street and door number before even setting off and then message when I’m outside, then walk up the street to the house.

Even when I’m being really diligent I feel nervous I’m going to end up at the wrong place and end up pissing someone off, it’s offensive to us as the visitor and the poor person who gets a randomer at their door

I had it happen a few times both back in pre-Internet days, when I used chatlines late at night, and early days online...

....on the first occasion, knocking on the door of a darkened house on the outskirts of Oxford at about 12.30am resulted in a very bleary-eyed man in his 70s opening the door - I apologised profusely, saying I was meeting a friend, but must have got the wrong address...

....the second time, ringing the doorbell of a house near Bedford just before midnight resulted in an elderly lady peering around the chained front door - she was actually baby-sitting her grandchildren, as I discovered when the occupants themselves pulled onto the driveway as I was leaving. Again, I simply said I was looking for a friend...

....in the third instance, when I arrived in the early hours the house was in total darkness - having learned my lessons, that time I didn't even bother to knock...

We had something similar whilst on holiday a while ago. Got chatting with a couple and arranged to meet for a social at a bar on the strip. They suggested which bar and said they'd meet us outside.

We got to the bar and couldn't see them so we took a table out front and waited. Ten minutes later, they appeared from a bar across the street, apologising for being late but "they wanted to be sure they liked the look of us from a distance first haha"

We asked what would happen if they didn't and they said they'd just stand us up.

We are close friends with a couple who are no longer on here that were chatting and camming with a couple for months who were invited to go and meet them for the weekend at their house in Bristol, our friends live in North Wales, and they gave them the wrong address then blocked them. It's hard to fathom why anyone would do such a thing.

We once were given an address in Walsall to meet a couple at their house, we arrived around 9pm, knocked on the door a few times, lights on but nobody answered. So I started to get that sinking feeling like we’d been set up. I called them to give their voicemail a rant, but they answered and it quickly became apparent we were in the wrong street!!

We left sharply, found the correct place and had such a great time we went back a few weeks later to see them again!

I’ve always tried socials plus verified by meeting profiles as a single woman and have still been messed about. The worst time was when I’d met a guy somewhere public for a social, had a chat, seemed nice had great veris and we arranged a meet another day. Went to ‘his address’ after updating him en route to tell him how close I was. I got there, not in the best area, he’d stopped replying to messages and there was no answer at the door. Then some random ranting guy (not who I met) was shouting and swearing at me through the door. Left sharpish, messaged the guy again and he later claimed not to have heard the door, didn’t know who I meant. Checked I had the right address and I did. People are weird.
