I told the story recently. I got through school, college and my first job without do much as a peck on the lips. Then one day, 27 years ago, I had just had a meal with a completely platonic female friend. She owned the house I was renting a room in, although she lived elsewhere. I would never have hD the guts to kiss her, even if it had occurred to me, and she didn’t think anything would ever happen either. Nowadays I blame it on pheromones.

Within half an hour we had moved onto a three hour sex session that knocked my virginity to pieces, and again every night for a week.

We "met" on a chat group set up by a mutual friend as a support group at the beginning of covid to help us all get through lockdown.

Prior to that we had no idea each other even existed.

I saw her across the room and ,well, to use a cliché it was really love at first sight .

A year later we married in the Church opposite.

That was 34 years ago a couple of days ago.

Arranged to meet at a pub in crewe, I got stuck in traffic and was 3 hours late. Was fully expecting to arrive to find him gone, but he was still there!
