Has any wife, husband or partner slept with a below average opposite number in a swap so that their wife/own husband could enjoy the better looking half of the other couple? So have they taken one for the team? Reply here or private x

No... When we started out on this journey, we agrred that no matter how much the other person wanted it, if we both weren't feeling it we wouldn't go ahead...

Exactly this.

We never take one for the team. Ever.

We both have to be 100% on all partners, even if meeting separately.

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

When I was meeting as a couple, we had the rule that we both had to be 100% signed up to it or it didn't happen.

No. Never have, never will. If as a couple we both do not find the other couple attractive or have a connection, then we don’t play with them.

It is quite rare to have same level of attraction amongst all fours so our approach is a pragmatic one. It is quite possible one of us may really fancy one half of a couple while the other may just fancy a little. We don't call it taking one for team just adjusting and playing to the situation and making best of it. Key here is that there is still a level of attraction, yes if there was no attraction at all for one of us then it will be a no.

N Peterborough.

Yes, once I got bounced in to meeting & it was shit. Looking back I think it was the male half of the couples way of getting a free, easy shag with a slim woman.

We had a social with another, way more experienced couple over the weekend, that was one of the first bits of advice they gave us. NEVER take one fir the team. Its both of you or neither of you that's attracted. Makes sense really, though... I probably still would if I knew it would make Mrs happy.

This exactly

For us it's something we do together and we are open and honest enough to say no without worries

No, never taken one for the team. I think it would be extremely disrespectful to the person I was having sex with. Also I'd be devastated to discover that someone had only had sex with me so their partner could enjoy themselves. We've had a couple of meets where the guy very clearly wasn't interested in me and it's not a nice feeling.

We wouldn’t, and we wouldn’t expect the other couple to do so either. So for yes’s to get through to the next round.

We're of the same ilk. We both have to agree play as otherwise it could cause resentment down the line.

So either all in or not happening

So has it ever happened where say one person just watched so no one felt like they were taking one for the team? This is something I’ve considered

Yes but it wasn't agreed before hand. The guy in a couple we met neglected to mention that he only wanted to watch his wife with other people. Given that I'm straight it was a very awkward encounter until we realised.

Take one for the team?

No No No.

We take seriously the swinging fun and happiness to be enjoyed by all present. There must to be a desire by every one in a sexual situation to enjoy themselves as they wish and only as they wish. No coercion, no feeling "well I ought to to keep so and so happy." NO! It's not right.

Play with whom you wish to play and enjoy. Full stop. If you don't desire someone, do not feel obliged.

If we aren't 100 percent on the same page that's it I'm afraid, we have had situations where we have not met again with couple's after socials because of this.x

With my friend of the female persuasion, "taking on for the team" is an expression we've used where the deal for one of us hasn't been good but we've continued for the benefit of the other one.

So yes, that term is recognised.

I've done that a few times. Prefer to watch anyway.
