Am I the only one who finds this frustrating?

As you can see from my profile I do have face pictures, and have also been photo verified. So you can be assured it’s me and that is my face.

I totally understand that many don’t want to show theirs, and that’s fine.

What bugs me is, when I ask for a face picture in return (after they have sent a message), I’d actually like to see your face!

-Not a body pic, with you covering your face.

-Not a photo that’s been taken in the distance.

-Not a photo where is blurred.

-Not a photo of only half your face.

I want to see a FACE picture.

Am I alone In getting frustrated when this happens??

I’m always happy to send a proper face picture when asked if I have spoken to someone.

I also send one with the first message I send so if I am not for them it saves time finding out later

We only share a face pic after a fair bit of chat when we feel like we might actually meet the other profile. We would love the freedom to post up face pics publicly or send them with the first messages but it would likely be career-ending if they got out.

We've had people send theirs in the first message and ask for ours before we've even really spoken. It's nice that they're so open but we find it pretty pushy early on.

We don't show our faces online, we live in a very quiet place and one of us works with kids and those parents who don't understand swinging would get upset about it... small minded I know. But if we are talking to someone we always share a pic of both our faces, its weird not to!

I wholeheartedly agree with this! Especially when it’s someone who messages you first. I have no public face pics for privacy reasons but more than happy to send them with a message. If a person doesn’t respond then I delete them as soon as I see the message has been read

This thread relates to private messaging, to someone who has a face picture on their profile, and photo verified (like mine), who don’t show their entire face or poorly taken photo.

I don’t think it’s an unreasonable request and given how easy it is to upload straight from your camera roll, and also delete after read, there’s little to no excuse IMO

It’s a bit of a cop out to try and pass off a partly obscured face pic as a valid one.

If you’re not happy sharing one, just say; if there’s no problem, send a clear one.

As for deleting the picture after it’s been read, that’s cool, how would you feel if weeks later you were asked to send it again? If they forgot what you looked like?

I’d have no problem with at all. I’d just send it again

for me I need to know what someone looks like to be attracted to them and I’m sure it goes the other way also

Hi kitty, we are the same, our faces are all over our profile, and we have adked guys to attach a face pic with their messages so we know if there is going to be a connection......do we get one attached?? Nope.

In fact I don't know about anyone else , but recently when we have asked for a face pic to be attached, the guys have immediately BLOCKED us.

Why do they do that?

That happens to us so often. Someone sends us a face pic as asked, I am on here all the time so I get to see it. By the time Char logs on (Fabmin is very low on her list of priorities) it's been deleted or auto removed after twenty-four hours and we have to ask for it again

Possibly as a convenient way to remind themselves not to message you again.

Not a technique I have used on here but on PoF I hit the 'Like' button to flag up unsuitables that otherwise look appealing.
