Anyone else got an in built bullshit-o-meter? Funny how you can get a message from a couple which at first seems ligit, only for the conversation from them starts my bullshit-o-meter and it starts looking more like a guy faking a couple.

I trust my bullshit-o-meter and so far its never let me down. How about you guys, do you trust your instincts too?

Very true.

Very easy to pick out the keyboard wankers on here who seem to get their thrills from going to great lengths to explain what they want to do to you pretending they might actually meet someone... but it's generally all bullshit from them.

Why do people automatically assume that he they perceive someone is a fake it must be single guy. No one, as far as I know, has any proof. My own theory is that a lot of these are couples, maybe just one half, who has decided to have a bit of fun because they have been rejected by another couple and wants to wind them up

It could well be a couple but just the male half, when you've been around a while you get to know how a couple talk and how a guy getting his jollies talk. To label then "single " might be wrong but I'm sure in most cases it's a guy.

This is my version of "bull shit" meter; which is biased towards people who tell me they are single / unattached/free to meet.

1. I am Bi to; can we meet up with one of your female friends/couple for fun

Bull Shit Meter Reading thinks:

There appears to be so many it's actually quite hard to tell - but being a single guy, I don't have to contend with many messages, therefore the odd fake profile doesn't really bother me.

One thing I did wonder is whether gay or bi men, pose as beautiful females so as to collect pics from unsuspecting males?

we are starting to get really REALY cheesed off with the fakes and b/s merchants on here. Would kit be possible to have a name and shame list, or for admin to check if people are posting from the same IP address ? (I know that is do-able, we use it on another forum to make sure that banned people don't crawl back)

We don’t even try to sniff out fakes as we never agree to meet on a 1 to 1 basis. We only meet at clubs or at parties. We will let people know where we are going to be when we get the chance to go out and play. The last few times we have gone out we have ended up with people we have never met or even spoken to before that night. Not much chance of finding fakes naked in a club lol xxx

Thats actually a great idea, never thought of it and it means Im safer then too.

Its scary being a single fem liking to meet couples, well anyone for that matter lol

Having worn out a number of 'Bullometers' on here, I just have a simple plan / rule-set:

1) Initial emails, chat etc. Get a good feel

2) Swap face pics. If all OK, proceed to step 3

3) Phone chat, both parties with outcome of arranging a social meet in a neutral venue.

4) Social meet; if all good, arrange play meet.

5) Arrange play meet.

Failure at any one of these stages and its 'Goodnight Vienna'.

Asking for more pics, its a 'bye-bye'.

Suddenly declaring your something else than advertised - retconned.

Persistently unavailable to even arrange a social or talk on the phone - blocked and deleted.

Trying to get 'full-on' over email, no thanks.

I won't agree to meet anyone unless i've seen pics and chatted to them and got the vibe from their profile that they are a genuine person. Verifications of meets and not just someone who webcams and promises to meet people. (Attention seeker who doesn't actually want to meet but likes to tease men on cam).

And even then before I agree to travel anywhere I like to at least speak to them on the phone. Always got that paranoia that it's a guy pretending to be female. Not actually had it happen yet but you know, I like to make sure it doesn't.
