Surely if you dislike ‘gayness’ it applies to women too….

Does homophobia have degrees now like its ok if its women but dudes are a big problem.

Maybe it says something about peoples sense of sexual security.

Someone explain it to me please.

You would think so but some people only label one.

I myself don't nor have any problems as we are all human and have both gay or bi friends away from this I've never been a judgemental person....

Crikey I'm lost on that one but I'd interpret it in a way that someone who displays the above as you've described is either in denial about their own sexual security/or curiosity +/- ignorance and understanding.

Different people have different preferences. You’ll find those that are vehemently anti gay are against all sorts of homosexual relationships, and usually polly relationship too.

Much of the time it is just the thought of 2 men together because of the “macho” upbringing, so very common in the late 20th century.

Lesbians have been fetishised for the male gaze and many men don't seen female relationships as valid or 'real'.

Being gay is still stigmatised due to toxic masculinity. Although, 'letting' your wife enjoy various other men while you watch could be seen as more emasculating than being attracted to other men.

Arse end of the universe

I think the reality is, guys are not too keen on being in the vicinity of another knob…. Like if you say you want a threesome, many will say yes to a ffm but not a mmf…

I'm no expert but, in my experience, it seems many homophobic types are quite happy to want a threesome with lesbians

May have lost something in the semantics, how can you be homophobic if you want sex with same sex people?

You're right, I think I tend to think of homophobics as men, which is an incorrect assumption

Toxic masculinity (specifically) is more prevalent on the gay scene and amongst gay people than I've ever encountered among straight people. The gay male aesthetic idolised hyper masculine traits.
