So what's your thoughts about when you ask someone for a face pic and they reply saying..yeah course..I will dig some out later on and then just don't.

In my opinion surely in this day and age with mobile phones it's pretty easy and quick just to fire one across?

So would you stay clear even though the profile seems genuin?

I have to say that I do get suspicious. And I'll give them a day or two at most.

If by then they haven't sent one then it's a block.

Good idea..I don't understand why it's so difficult. Especially if there are quite a few other pics on their profile.

Not everyone wants to share too early for many reasons, some which we might find genuine, some which we might find suspicious. But it’s their choice.

I probably share my face with about 40 or 50 percent of the people I talk to, when I know we really get on or if there’s a genuine prospect of meeting. I don’t immediately share a pic with anyone that rocks up in my inbox even if they have face pics on their profile etc

As ever on Fab, you have a choice whether to proceed with the conversation if they don’t send one or not. The whole “I’ll dig one out and send later” thing is probably a non-confrontational way of saying “I’m not ready to send yet” that buys time.

Our face pics are in our profile for all to see, so it's not like we demand them and not give back..in fact at the start of any contact weather it be they have msged us and quite like the sound of them or we msg them..we always say our face pics are in our public gallery xx

I send face pic when messaging.

Don't care if I don't get one back. Its nice but if they are sus it soon comes out in messaging.

If I am interested in them it is slightly different but I rarely message those I fancy

We think it’s personal preference and how you feel about the messages.

I’d rather know who I’m chatting to within the first couple of messages.

I sometimes have a face pic on my profile, but I definitely send a face pic with the first message, it’s only polite to do so in my opinion.

Plus you’ve got the option of removing that photo once viewed.

Few weeks ago I was talking to a couple, changed a few pic and at some point they was asking to videocall me. As I was not getting out from the house for about a week or so I must admit that I didn't want to accept the videocall because I was looking a bit rough but then I said to myself to accept and just explain myself. Anyway...my point is that some people might not want to share a live pic straight away but I'm pretty sure they can easily find a recent one and do one later if not...instant block

We simply don't have the time or inclination to chat with people on here unless we're going to meet them, and we're only going to meet them if we fancy them, and we'll only know that from face pics.

If we message someone we send our face pics with that message, there’s no point wasting anyone’s time. But that’s us, and others will have a million reasons why they might not want to share pics. It’s up to them - and also up to you if you want to disregard them as potential meets as a result.

I wouldn’t want to put someone into a position that they feel uncomfortable with.

I strongly believe that mutual attraction comes 1st ! What's the point chatting endless without including a pic 1st ? It would just waste each others time if you don't fancy him/them/her at the end

If no-one put face pics on here the site wouldn't work for long. Everyone would be in a zero sum game of working people out from faceless profiles.

I know people will have reasons not to show their face, equally people are entitled to ask for or expect one. My thought is if you are contacting someone with a face pic on their profile you should have the same. Why should one side assume a higher level of "risk" than the other?

Seems reasonable to ask for face pic and or video chat prior to a meet those days. When ppl are evasive, it immediately raises alarm bells for me whether they are verified or not.

Personally I don't like to share them straight away. I've bad a bad experience with in the past which I don't want to go through again. I'm a private person when it comes to this part of my life. If people don't like it their issue

If we've been chatting a while and I ask about swapping face pics, if they dodge the question or won't send one, I just stop engaging.

I was chatting to a man years ago, asked to swap face pics and he said I didn't need to see one for a social. I said no face pic no meet and stopped the chat there. Its up to people if they don't want to send one, but as long as they appreciate it will cut their chances down.

For me there’s no point having a conversation without a face pic.

Irony expect them to be public, but I’m well verified and shows I’m genuine so no face pic- no convo.

If I message first I attach one too.

I appreciate not sending to unverified by meet profiles and being wary but for me. There’s no excuse for it

Exactly this is swingers site not dating site where you swipe face pic like or not can't send face pic out on first request in first msg some ppl are less confident than others some ppl don't want to send them out in matter of precaution

Personally don't mind send one out after bit of chatting not in first msg tho

Once I've chatted and think it might be someone I'd meet I do share but I won't just share with everyone on first messages. No skin off my nose if people don't like that. I've just had a very bad experience so its made me want to keep things private.
