Those of a certain age may remember the porn fairy. It would leave dirty magazines across the land in such places as hedges and laybys for the curious to find. I though it was perhaps time to share stories and experiences of this most generous of beings...what are your recollections of gifts from the porn fairy?

How do you think they ended up in hedges?

Maybe the husband went to the shops to buy some fags , read sorry looked at the razzle and dumped it in a hedge as not to have to take it home?

The porn fairy used to hide them in my dad's wardrobe,a lot of hairy armpits and bushes, though one of the girls was shaven which did look weird back in the day and now the norm.

I remember all the classics, Whitehouse, Lovebirds, Playbirds, Rustler, Raider, Park Lane, Fiesta, Escort...all wonderful!

There was an old disused railway line that used to run through the farm fields at the bottom of our estate. There was a little tunnel to go under the track which just led to trees and stingers. Could guarantee there’d be a pile of porn mags dumped down there.

Ha! This thread bought back a memory of my days as a "temp", working as a bin man.

One day the lock on the tipper popped open and garbage spilled onto the road. As we rebagged the waste one of our gang spotted a wank mag. We passed it around while sitting at the roadside waiting for the bin lorry to come back from the tip.

We really were a load of 'dirty old men' that morning.

When I was in my mid-teens, not far from our house was an overgrown footpath that ran parallel to a main road, set back about 50 feet or so - all alone about halfway along the path was a derelict cottage...

....for whatever reason I often took that path, and walking past the cottage one day I happened to notice something tucked away under a sheet of corrugated iron - lifting the corner revealed a small pile of magazines...

....as I recall, there was a selection of the titles of the day - Escort, Fiesta, Men Only, Penthouse, etc - being in a secluded spot, I'd stop off there two or three times a week and make full use of them...

....the best part was that every month or so the 'old' pile would be tossed away to rot in an inaccessible spot more exposed to the elements - and they'd be replaced by a 'new' set with fresh photos and stories for a schoolboy to wank himself silly over...

....I never saw anyone else there, so never knew who my 'porn fairy' was...

Ah the thrill of finding a carrier bag dumped in the woods and wondering what sorts of delights would be inside! I even found a bag full of copies of VHS hardcore porn once, this was in the early 1990s when that kind of stuff was hard to come by.
