Just be yourself, open, honest and respectful. Go to clubs, socials and get chatting to people face to face and network. You never know if you are a genuine the person you talk to may not be interested but know others who are. Also post on the forums alot of people read these but are not so active but may like how you come across that's what happened to me anyway

This really. I’ve literally lost count of the number of messages I’ve been sent by guys who only have cock pics on their profile - taken from every conceivable angle! Look at their text and 90% of it is explaining that fab is a publicly traded entity - or similar total bollocks!!! Either that or they have a whiney status complaining that there are loads of fakes or no-one responds to their messages.

Frankly I’m amazed most of them aren’t still virgins!!

I’ve got a vagina - which means I can get innumerable fucks with zero effort - and yet I’ve spent countless hours over the years honing my profile text and posting pictures which I believe are an accurate reflection of me.

On the very rare occasion I’m messaged by a guy who put in similar effort - even if I don’t fancy him sexually I’ll generally respond and compliment his profile. Xx

To be fair that rarely makes any difference when messaging, although it absolutely does at a club or social. I've seen so many of us guys telling others to do exactly that as it absolutely DOES make a difference, but it appears to get ignored by and large.

As a very average guy I've had almost all of my successes from it, though very little off Fab itself directly. Responses of any kind to messages sent are overwhelmingly nil, except on rare occasions, so rather than waste my time I get my arse out there as and when possible and funnily enough once women get to know you you'll be invited to go places where you'll get to see them and by association meet others. It's a no-brainer!

None of this works either sadly. It'll either not be read, be lost in the sea of rude one-liners, or even lost in the numbers game. Even if it is seen and read the chances of a response are probably one in around five hundred. Going to organised events and being classy pays dividends and that's about it. I've been told I'm very different to the vast majority of men on Fab once women have met me, (not that I'm anything special by any means) but on Fab itself there's almost zero chance of any kind of interaction to get to that point.

I personally believe there are a few key things men can do to ‘be seen’ on here, which may help towards a meet.

Up until recently I had over 800 unread messages on here, and 99% of them are a blank pfp or of their dick, the message title said ‘hi’ and the message asks ‘how are you?’. And that’s all!

If you even want your message seen, put effort at least into you pfp, your message title, and the first line of your message, for starters. Those are the messages I am going to look at, that stand out as different.

Then, the rest is down to being able to string a sentence together, have an interesting profile, and as harsh as it sounds, being deemed attractive.

A compliment also helps!

So organise one yourself.

Find a venue, don't publish it openly but tell people roughly where it is ( what town or city its in ). Start a thread advertising it, pick a date (a Saturday night tends to be best) and give yourself plenty of time for word to spread, say 2 months. Keep bumping the thread, and keep a list of the names that are interested. Bare in mind there will be no-shows. A week before the date, message the list and give them the location, and ask them to confirm they are attending. Turn up with the list, tick them off as they come in, and enjoy the night.

But, but, but...even if you tip up at a social, attend a club if you are socially inept or just a plain, everyday fuckwit, you're doomed.

We've seen guys at socials, clubs and even Cap D'Agde just sit alone, time after time propping up the bar, making no effort whatsoever.

Even if you are the most shy man on the planet a quick smile and a hello isn't too much to ask, maybe even offer your bar stool to the lady.

It’s a recreational sex site populated in the main by “single” men of varying degrees of articulacy. No matter what a profile says it’s all down attraction in the end. Spending years perfecting a profile on sex site seems to a little OTT?
