Do you think more people are using clubs and socials instead of Fab for meeting people instead of arranging and organising meets on here?

Reading through the forums, there seems to be a fair few people getting disheartened with the lack of success regarding hooking up with people on the site.

Do you think more people are using other platforms to chat, or going straight to clubs and take their chances meeting people face to face?

Still feels a bit taboo asking for a meet. Isn't worth my time trying no one seems to want one either.

nope things are slowly getting back to normal meets are easy to get but we have also changed the way we meet now due to the massive influct of men not everything is done via fab as we have regulars at the end of the phone

This is true. Even then, those venturing back for the first time since covid broke, many do so tentatively.

Meetings used to be easy to arrange, half a dozen messages between one another and away you go.

Nowadays, an hour after the first contact I'm still being asked ", what will you wear?" or "what will you do to me?

I've lost the will by then.

We only meet in clubs.

They have the facilities, there is no entitlement, safe and fun.

However, we have made friends in clubs that we meet outside both separate and together.

I don’t think it is slowing down - if anything I think it is getting busier. I know from couples I have met that a lot of people “talk the talk” but very few actually turn up and walk it. If people know you are genuine then you are more likely to be approached when they want to guarantee a meet.

The site has got busier it seems, with people less willing to meet, but more comfortable for people to chat, which is understandable after the last 18 months or so.

One thing I have noticed is an increase in the tit tok, look at me, style of profiles.

This site is here for people to use as they wish, but I feel there are changes happening in the way people are meeting for the purpose of connecting for swinging.

Over two years doing this and not been to a club yet (they don't work for us for one particular reason) but we don't have trouble arranging meets on here....we've just found that the influx of single guys over the past year or so has meant there's more junk mail to filter out, and seems more no-shows from unverified guys.

I’m more inclined towards clubs at the moment.

There are so many disrespectful men, who make me feel like a piece of meat, that I don’t even want to talk to anyone anymore.

Seems to be more fantasists than ever on here now, and though we've tried to arrange meets its amazing how often people have work issues on the day and can't make it!

Clubs are the best way at the moment.

I think the thing with a club is you can suss most people out when you talk to them or see how they play. That way you can make a decision if they're for you there and then.

Whereas with chatting to people on here can lead nowhere after days or weeks of searching.

Fab definitely isn’t as ‘fab’ as it was before covid; 2019 was a fantastic year for me! Meeting genuine people from here then, is a world away from the last 3 or 4 months for sure

I don’t limit my fun to only using Fab though, and fortunately the other site I use to meet likeminded people fills the cracks opened in here

I can’t speak for the club scene, it never really worked for me as a single guy, so understandably, I haven’t rushed back since they reopened
