We previously enjoyed a buddy for 20+ years. He moved away and we have been trying to replace him ever since being released from COVID-19 lockdown.

We are a bit fussy, we insist on at least one strictly social meet in a public environment. We are fussy about locality and the Missus prefers a full head of hair.

We get lots of one off brief messages / chats and interest, but then nothing.

We think that we are worth knowing, but hardly anyone makes any effort.

Perhaps we are doing something wrong?

Also you're twenty years further down the line, choice narrows after a certain age.
