Your criteria, your choices do nothing wrong at all. However I believe sometimes if you seek perfection you can often miss out on great times. Sometimes it pays to take a little bit of risk . You can often be pleasantly surprised. Good luck OP xx

Really difficult to answer, maybe a person who has a mutual interest such as travel and can hold conversations on similar passions combined with maybe a high sex drive and not to take things too seriously when it crosses over into the physical.

I didn’t look for a FWB, but after a few one off meets it sort of happened/evolved.

Same advice I’ve given to ones that are looking for boyfriend/girlfriend. Stop looking to the distance, enjoy what’s often right in front of you, you never know how things will turn out x

We believe we're loads more likely to find someone in real life than on here - we have very high expectations which we're pretty sure aren't going to be met on here. It would be nice if it happens, but not too bothered if it doesn't.

Someone I want to see again and again. That's it on my list. I couldn't possibly put it as a list of attributes or qualities. I've met several that have gone that way and none of them are that similar to be honest. So yeah. Just someone I'm excited to see.

I've found fwbs come along when you least expect it and it evolves into something more meaningful all by itself over time.

You might also find that the things you see as a necessity in an fwb aren't always needed when you just click and find other things instead that you like about a particular person.

I would like an fwb but I'm not actively looking right now, just seeing what comes and enjoying the clubs instead.

I probably dont fit what many women are looking for in an fwb but if they look past the dress and make up and see the guy under it all then I make a damn good friend and fuckery partner

I’m starting to feel the same. I’m going to take a break and throw myself into work and the Christmas rush and then get out more in the new year rather than sitting online thinking I’ll find something that fits from a brief chat on here

I do find this site particularly challenging when it comes to finding a FWB.

I want an overnight stay, which tends to be the sticking point on here. I've met plenty who are happy to come round for an hour of an afternoon, but no more. That's fun sometimes, but not what I want from a FWB.

I'm happy to keep looking for what I want.

I'm still looking for my fwb/fb. For me it's the connection, sex and intimacy between both of those aspects.

But as someone stated above and I do feel they are correct, is finding someone off fab. I'd like to ask, how do you approach the matter to people you know in person?

Is it just a simple "fancy being a fwb?" if you are friends with them?

I have learned with talking to a good few people that taking time to get to know someone is key to at least finding someone to connect with.

Trust me I have made a lot of mistakes on here with jumping in with both feet very early on in conversations. And to those that, I have upset I can only apologise.

For me and after having a good long hard look at my life of late, I have come to realise that there has to be some sort of connection and just take it very easy getting to know someone and see what evolves...

I’ve had two amazing ones in the past. They gave me memories I will always cherish. I didn’t go looking for one either. They just evolved. I think having a tick list of what you want can be a negative. Just go with the flow. Let them evolve.

Could not agree more...it evolves. Was a lover to a couple for 4 years. She winked me on here..met for coffee then again and rest was history. Developed in to a fabulous fwb relationship with a bit more thrown. Often talked about it and neither of us looking for it..but evolved into something fabulous....patience and all you delicious ladies will.fimd the right person...all.the best in your searchesxx

I don’t mind footing the bill for hotels and dates, as long as we’re both getting what we want out of the ordeal and it’s convenient.

Exactly this. A FWB sort of evolves from a couple of meets and then into something more regular. You may also meet as a couple with other singles and couples. I kike having the fun without the commitment of a relationship.

A few years ago I found lovely FWB on Fab. We had two great years together before I had to move away. I wasn't looking for a FWB. I did not have test criteria and if I had she would not have fitted but it worked out brilliantly.

I suggest you tear up your specification sheet and just connect with people. As the saying goes, you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find a Prince.

But what do you have to give ?

Having preferences is great but some of the vibes people give off on here is ridiculous.

Fab is for the benefits , friends are found elsewhere on the whole

Out of everything, someone who appreciates what i bring to the table. Ive been told recently that im quite different to a lot of guys on fab (you know who you are i see in you in this thread lol). I make an effort to be different and unique, and i equally make the same effort in bed. I dont want to be seen as just another guy with a tool to fulfill their satisfaction. Sure its nice to have someone who can hold a conversation and socialise with outside of sexual activities, but its better knowing you give them experiences theyll remember.

Also would like to share various kinks too allowing us to explore our fantasies further. Distance would be ideal if they were closer, but for the right person im happy to go that extra mile if theyd be willing to. Why limit your options and lose out on really good fun? Its not everyday someone comes around who really gets your fires burning hot

do not change what you are looking for we've been swinging nearly 28 years now and never lower what we look for other will tell you your missing out but you are not stick to your guns...

fwb are a hard find i have 3 that i can rely on when feeling horny but i dropped a few over the years for them trying to go beyond friendship stick to your guns dont be tempted to lower as you will regret it...top tip the fuck buddys that i still see all come from one offs i was not looking for a fwb at the time both we've know for over 10 years now sometimes when looking it dont happen yet you'll meet someonr in a club or one off and then you find you fwb... never lower what you want from someone

im not jumping thro hoops = ive not asked you to.

lower your standards to give us a chance= no.

and on and on the list could go the daily one is we are fake because we say no thanks.

amazing aint it that all us women are up our own asses for knowing i wont lower my preference/standard for anyone ..why ? well one because i dont want too and 2 because i relly dont have to see fab is a sea of men looking to join couples and women in the pool....

Same here. Mine was a meet up that became two, that became much more over the last 18 months. I adore the guy. We can talk about anything and have great sex too.
