Are we being snobby?

Mrs has a pretty strict criteria about the lookand type of people she wants to meet and I'm very much identical in her preferences.

Anyway, we had a cpl contact us and in all fairness the guy was the let down in the looks department so we just said " Sorry guys but you're not for us, happy hunting"

Their response was " If you weren't such snobs you'd get loads more sex on here"

Are we being snobby or is sticking to what we want the norm?

Not snobs, just going with what you want rather than the wishes of others. Let's face it, if you had no standards at all you'd get loads and loads of sex. It wouldn't be much fun but there'd be loads of it!

You're not being snobby - just selective and we're the same - why should you compromise? We were called timewasters yesterday when we said we didn't want to meet a couple - lol - each to their own but I wouldn't have sex with anyone i didn't find sexy. Z

well I went and looked at your profile to se if that could have made these people call you snobs but if anything I'd say the opposite it's well writen, thoughtful and not at all snobbish so I realy don't see where they're coming from. Strange people about

I think you could only be accused of snobbery if you are rich or middleclass but refusing to meet someone who is poor or working class

Not snobby at all..if looks are more importance to you then personality then thats your choice..or if the guy was an absolute munster and didnt turn you on..

However, if you are only looking for an adonis and bimbo type couple in the the belief that you will have more fun then with an 'average' couple then you might want to think things through a bit more... lesser mortals can also be much more entertaining, fun and good company..more so than others who are obsessed with themselves..

That said..theres no point in meeting a couple if you are sitting there in a pub beforehand thinking 'ive got to kiss that later'

I think they were wrong to accuse you of being snobby..its an over used word these days, like an exclamation mark, people dont know when to use it or in what context..

You body, your preferences, your choice..
