so this consant pain in our butts unsolicated friends invites .. now we are talking guys as we only meet guys and im sure others do it too but why ? the clue is the friends bit our friends list is for those we've spoken to and at some point hope to meet or they are people we've met and want to meet again so why do they do it..

its like turning up to a birthday party univited saying i wanna be your friend pretty creepy..

whats your opinion ?

Not really a big deal surely. They can be deleted and moved in from quickly enough.

correct but why in the first place is the question why do you think you will be excepted as a friend without any other contact ? as someone already said alot just block so why lol

Some people will accept each and every friend request they receive for various reasons including that it makes a new picture more likely to make the top of hot pics. I guess a lot of people just send out friend requests indiscriminately in the hope that some will accept and they can see their private pictures.

On Facebook I have a friend's son ony friend's list because years ago he had some pictures she wanted me to see. I wouldn't know him if he stood in front of me but I feel it would be rude to delete him. Daft isn't it

Wait for them to go offline, have a peek at the private gallery, if they tickle your fancy then send a message. If not, Unfriend them.

Surely you can just decline them with a single click? While I wouldn’t send one unsolicited, I don’t really understand why this is a reason to get aggravated, or a reason to block.

I suppose I’ll get thousands of ‘friend invites’ now, just to prove the point.

Our take on it is simply that it's rude. A lack of manners.

So we block. Our profile explains explicitly what will happen if someone sends one to us. So when they are received we know the sender hasn't bothered with the basic courtesy of reading the profile.

Or they decide to ignore the warning.

Either way they get blocked.

Sometimes I'll wait til their offline, accept and look at their pics before deleting.

this! I don't find getting friend invites rude at all, people get annoyed when you can literally just bulk delete with two clicks, so what's the issue?

Yeah all the time from random couples from miles away or on the rare occasions we open our filters from guys but we just leave them in invites so they can’t request again. If we haven’t chatted to them, then we will assume they are just pic collectors

Dozen daily and even more winks - if i am up to it I will block a few especially the newer registered ones.

with the winkers i play their game when i have time send then a message saying you winked and often a few words back from them as they are confused as they may have winked hundreds that day i thn block them

either way, just bulk delete takes a second.

I do wonder if this works for anyone? I often get a friend invite and a wink at the same time from a single male or a couple. It must work occasionally for people to keep doing it? (It’s not going to work on me though

ur here to make friends......... a simple click starts the ball rolling.....so easier than typing a message for it only to recieve no reply........ everyone has their own view so no ones doing anything wrong,you have filters to taylor who can message or what ur looking for,if they pass this then ur option of deleate or block is really simple and easy todo

If there isn’t then people accept that and move on…it seems like an alternative to writing a message and getting ignored.

Effectively it is an invitation to start communicating.

I wonder how many this affects.

That is exactlywhat winks are for and if someone doesn't bother to respond to a wink they are definitely not going to respond to an invite.
