Single guys moaning about not getting any meets.

I am going to have a rant you are lazy put no effort into meets or messages and think because you are on a swinger site you will get laid just by asking for a fuck.

I normally put up a meet but thought hell why not last night cant accom but would be nice to go out for a beer a social thing you know and maybe a little fun on the way back looking for a local guy now maybe that was a bit specific on what I wanted but.

What do I get woke up to 50 yes 50 messages in return to want a fuck or wish I could join you for a drink but could still pop round after the pub shuts or well you get the idea. And what did I do delete all 50 grrrrrr rant over

I always meet socially first for several obvious reasons, but also to see how they treat me in public. In five years only twice have I not played because of how they acted, one I walked out on, both contacted me to play.

As to the op: your request sounded like you were seeking a date. Personally I _iew the "meet today" as an instant fuck, no preamble, just straight to it. Perhaps the 50 were of a similar _iew?

You could always try a 'dating' site! As that is what you were after! Of course people aren't going to put the effort in when they msg people on the 'meet today' section! Thats what its for, last minute meets!! When i personally want a social meet before having some fun, i take my time and put the effort in to find someone i click with! After all, you never know who you will be stuck with the rest of the evening!

What makes you think that is any different from the flip-side argument - a single guy has a rant that even though he sends out individual Booker prize worthy emails to selected individuals he gets no response?

(Well apart from the fact that the single guy isn't being roasted alive in the thread, that is?)

Its a very simple paradigm - If no one owes anyone a response; why would someone owe anyone anything more than a two line email in the first place?

What makes you entitled to anyone expending effort on you?

Eventually, the law of diminishing returns gets us all.

We now normally reply with something witty but our wits are wearing thin.

This morning we've been invited to three gangbangs, two digging sessions an three fuck meets all with one line openers.

Sorry guys but I worship my wife and although I do find it sexy to watch her have fun. You really do need to put a bit of effort in.

Show people a bit of respect and shut up moaning and you may just get somewhere.

and as someone said above she could have done a local search, crafted a well thought out message, ( no cut and paste ), matching what she was looking for and selling herself . She chose not to be overly proactive but rather reactive and got nowt....

I don't use the "Meet Today" function, as I see it as an invitation for a quick shag without so much of a hello, not my way of arranging fun as it is my preference to get to know the gent with sufficient details before I would agree to meet him.

Whenever I make myself searchable, I would say only one or two in 50+ gents that contact me are worthy of my effort to follow up and reply to their messages.

This has always been the case since I joined FAB over 3 years ago, and am accustomed to it.

If the first message do not show any signs of the gent having paid much notice to my profile, then I would delete and block then move on.

No point in getting annoyed as it changes nothing.

To be honest im to much of a scardy cat to put up a meet today. I like to get to know guys well first and id never know what sort of guy i would end up with, if i didnt know him before hand.

I wouldnt expect someone i didnt know to want to go for a drink, it would be different if they where a long term friend

Hey I sent messages and winks out on Friday and during the week I did put the effort in to said messages had a date/meet lined up for Saturday night and an hour before we were due to meet he got cold feet. That is why I used meet today to see if there was any interest was not expecting the guy to buy all the drinks just a night out or social meet with a few extras not instant sex I will no not to in future.

Will leave going out to going out with mates and fabs for sex.

Silly me I thought swinging was a social community or did I get that wrong x

To be honest your comment about how it would be nice to be wined and dined first would probably put a lot off.

Now ok, even meeting for a drink like we do doesn't guarantee sex....but if I was a single man playing on here I would steer clear of any women who ask for that as it could be a scam to get fed and watered

I get irritated by women who moan about this yet still pick to meet the 'fuck and go' guy over guys that will actually go for a drink/chat or even watch a film and make a full night being with someone rather than it being solely about the sex.

I've seen profiles bitching about everything under the sun with guys having no pics or not making an effort yet you then see the last person they met fitting the exact same things they've described as hating. They're the ones that picked them! Lol

mIt's not called "Fabsocial", or "Fabfriends" it's called Fabswingers, and swinging ain't swinging unless there is sex.

so you're not wrong per se, but you forgot women are from venus men are from mars. men don't need the preamble before sex. for most men, sex is just a physical desire, much like a wanting a game of football. it requires no emotional content to get started.

as stated by others, if you want a social meet, make it clear that the man will have to go through that first.

- i know the above does not apply to relationships/friendships/romantic sex, but then again, that's not what men are on this site for, is it?
