What Happens In Swinging

Should stay in swinging.

Should what happens in the swinging scene, stay behind closed doors & clubs?

Over the years, there has been numerous programmes, documentaries, people appearing in the press and in interviews.

Do they do more harm than good?

I've yet to see any of the above that has been portrayed in a good way.

What are your thoughts?

I though the program on VA on channel 4 was the best show I had seen about the scene. A few people that know I swing asked me about it and is it like what I do

I think the oposite, the more wide stream swinging becomes then the less of a stigma will be attached, dont forget gays had to fly below the radar until quite recently, now nobody sees it as an issue and let them get on with it in the main, ignorance breads distrust

There is some truth to that.

But what about those that wish to remain under the radar so their families, friends and employment don't find out?

When the press get involved, they can be ruthless and don't care who they expose and how.

There's no harm in education and helping others to understand the lifestyle.

There will always be those that look down on us or think we're immorale perverts, sadly.

Outing people is a different thing. We all have the right to privacy. Others should only know that we're swingers if we have chosen to tell them.
