how can they possibly hope to attract a reply if they have no pics or am I wrong?

Some people collect pics and vids, certain pics/vids they have a fetish for….fabbers don’t necessarily all meet people, seen plenty of profiles where people just like that spicy interaction and of course to make friends etc….just a thought

Second that, that alone would improve the chances of a meet, it’s when you have to start digging to get someone to send you a pic etc

if i get a message from a guy i read the profile,,, if the guy has been on the site at least 8months or longer got no pics not photo verified or verified by others i just decline the offer

One picture won't cut it, on here. search out other male profiles, find out who's got the best photos and profile text, then use that as a starting point.

Go to clubs and socials to meet in the flesh.

I'd say not a lot unless they either have a silver tongue (or should I say texting finger) and/or have attracted people to their profile on the back of club or webcam interaction.

Pictures can be sent privately with an option to remove them if there is a negative or no response.

Some pictures on here tell you very little especially if they are graphic.

The hottest man I've met had no pics on his profile.

A close up of Y fronts or a generic headless suit pic are pointless anyway.

I prefer not to put a picture on my own profile, through several reasons, but I always ensure i send a picture on the messages I have sent..

Im not really bothered if the female or couple dont have a picture on their profile, if I don't get a picture with a reply, then its hello block button.

Pictures dont always flatter its the ability to pen a decent message that gets my attention

I made my first profile in the middle of the night about 12 years ago , I had no pics and no text , I just wasn’t prepared .

Anyway by the time I woke up at 10 am I had over 300 messages …

I doubt any men get approached by anyone but possibly other men if they don’t display any pics… unless perhaps they already have a glowing reputation amongst “ the community “.

I’m sure you do but you have pics …

I’m merely stating that I believe that men’s profiles without any pics seldom if at all get approached first and like the OP wonders how successful those men are when sending the initial message without even attaching a pic to their mail.

Whereas couples and single women gets bombarded regardless ( in my experience )

We get many messages from guys with no pics then when you ask for a face pic they don't reply. We'll never meet not seeing someone!
