Yes I watch this

I’ve only watched the last couple of seasons though. It’s really interesting what they find but sometimes I think they’re grasping at straws with the theories.

I first discovered it in the 1990's when I saw a documentary. I was hooked!

I couldn't find much about it apart from a couple of books, but the series has helped bring it to a new generation and audience.

So what are your theories?

It's Canadian.

The island has a lot of factual history.

Who ever dug those holes and other work..needed a huge work force.

"Who ever dug those holes and other work..needed a huge work force."

One of my theories is that there were natural caves that were adapted to suit the needs of their tunnels.

Could be condensed into 10 mins of tv showing the 3 things they found and ignoring the hours of conjecture

I like the Programme, it’s impressive the amount of $ they have ploughed into it.

What they have spent, many could retire on.

Then again, history is being rewritten as they discover more and more.

I actually love that it's one of the few "mystery hunt" shows left that don't miraculously find the thing by the end of an episode. It feels pretty faithfully told without false jeopardy. If they don't find anything then that's how the episode goes and I respect them for that!

The last season was probably the most interesting as they found loads of infrastructure on the island that they couldn't explain. Looking forward to the next season!

They do tend to get a bit excitable when they find ox shoes and nails

Ridiculous series. They know gold and silver is down there and exactly where, yet keep drilling holes and metal detecting for ox shoes. Clearly extending the series beyond belief.

I've read about it over some years. Certainly seems odd though the mechanics of constructing it seem extreme. My guess is that it's a natural phenomenon that has been used in some way.
