Haha, i have trimmed mine for a meet only for the lady to say she prefers it hairy, i have not trimmed it and been told smooth is preferable!!

Now i keep it how i prefer it as at the end of the day i have to be happy with myself.

Oo yes a hairy chest is gorgeous, all manly, very nice indeed.

I'm not keen on very long and wiry pubic hair, I do like that to be trimmed a little if it has a tendency to grow wild. But care should be given to blend it in with the chest hair look as a hairy chest and then an area of complete smoothness does look rather silly

YOU don't like a hairy back??!! I've had mine waxed every four weeks for the past five years cos it gets like the upper canopy of the Brazilian rain forest if I 'let it go'....

Would never go back (no pun intended) to having a hairy rear elevation again....

i think personally, I wouldn't even consider it unless I'd got some damn amazing 6 pack, abs etc to show off, can't see the otherwise, it's only a point of discussion now due to exposure in magazines, TV and advertising (this is only my opinion, this might not be right :p), always seeing this supposed image that you are supposed to look like just makes people self conscious and easy to target their products at.

I really like a hairy chest! Men are meant to be hairy lol. Trimmed downstairs yeah but leave the rest alone

Gymfit is a proper hairy bloke, its so sexy to me, but he doesn't like it, so the chest gets shaved which looks nice but I have very sensative skin so it can prickle when cuddling up, and his back gets trimmed, boo lol.

If anyone has any tips on How to get him to let it grow please share!

I'm all over hairy. To be honest, there were so many comments in the media etc about how undesirable this was, that it became a real problem to me - I was ashamed to be naked or even go swimming or anything like that.

I do completely respect a woman's right to express her preferences though. It's just it became a psychological problem - I hated myself really and I didn't have sex for five years after some unfavourable comments. I'd actively shy away from opportunities with women.

Nowadays, I do do some topiary and I'm reasonably comfortable with myself

. On the rare occasions I do meet a woman (generally, not through here) I do find myself slipping it into conversation somehow, so they're forewarned.

Sorry, this isn't meant to be a sob story - I just wanted to get across that it is something that can affect the self-esteem of guys!

I tend to shave one side and leave the other natural, hence all my meets are only semi disappointed, plus if they want photos you can just lay on that particular side and be smooth or hairy at any given moment

Just a suggestion, and for once I am being serious on here, have you considered changing you username to hairy like or something of that ilk? I'm not naturally hairy myself but I do know from cinversations ive had with ladies is that some women are really turned on by hairy men. The reason I say this that it would then put you in the shop window for such women without even having to message. I might be talking bollocks but it seems like a quick and cheap advertising win to me

You can buy all - over body shavers. With a bit of contortionist, I'm able to shave everywhere I want too.

Obviously doesn't last as long as waxing and it might look a bit weird at first, if parts you dont shave are still hairy e.g arms and legs.

i'm bald/shaven on top but have a hairy chest which is practicaly grey/silver lol so i stick the lawn mower on it every 3 or so weeks, wifey does not mind it either way but i would probably be a little embarrassed if a woman didn't like it on a meet/party

Have always been hairy chested with a "love trail" (is that really what its refered to as

) & clean shaven below. Was always complimented that it was nice to rake fingers through & snuggle up to. Seems to be the general opinion here. Did shave it off once but never again.

OP you can try shaving it off or trimming it, see how your playmates responds to the look
