What's your thoughts on fabbers who have a paragraph of Legal bumph at the bottom of their profile, Saying anyone using them will be subject to legal ramifications...Screenshot cums to my mind lol..

If you don't want anyone hijacking your photos don't post them on here. You really think a warning at bottom of your profile will stop someone taking your pics and using them. Think not

I'm a researcher at Sydney University... I don't take any notice of the warnings.

Most likely the same people who believe there's a microchip in the vaccine.

As if anyone is actually going to take the warnings seriously and more to the point, has anyone on fab ever taken legal action on having their pictures used elsewhere.

And yes I've found mine being used by some twonk who thought I'd fancy myself as he used them on his own profile on a other platform.

They make me laugh. Imagine standing up in court because someone has been using your cock or fanny pic elsewhere and trying to explain you had some legal jargon to prevent this.

I wouldn’t be surprised by that, and the legal jargon is not required as copyright is automatically assigned to the creator unless a contract is in place altering this.

What I’d be surprised by is someone spending seriously significant sums of money to pursue an action.

The threats of legal action, the Sydney Uni crap and claims about the site being a publicly traded entity are all puerile bollox peddled by ignorance.

I wonder if they really would go down the legal route. We work on the principle that anything we post on the Internet is fair game and ultimately there is absolutely nothing we can do to stop it.

Clearly some people do read profiles then ! It doesn’t bother me seeing it tbh, and we have it at the bottom of our description because why not! No big deal either way to anyone right? Miss pc

We used to have it when we first got here, thought it was 'the norm' as we saw it on alot of profiles so followed the pack, soon learnt it's worthless and pointless too.

Waste of time and takes up space apparently. On some profiles that disclaimer is more than they've actually added themselves.

In all honesty, we tend to think they're the same kind of people that forward hoax warnings on Facebook without bothering to check them first, and it (maybe unfairly) gives us a poor impression of them.

Even more so when they've copy and pasted the one that talks about Facebook being a legal entity!

Why is Sydney University so special anyway? Do they offer a degree in swinging or something?!

For starters it’s called The University of Sydney. I’m pretty sure for any legal disclaimer to stand up in court it would at least have to get the name right
