It's a great experience but if you've never tried it before take care & make sure the person you're with knows what they're doing.

Thanks .... I do have some experience and have even been suspended but looking to explore more and in other ways

Looking on the site that can't be mentioned, there appears to be a Manchester Rope Event group that lists a Manchester Rope Jam and also a Stockport Peer Rope.

I don't know the people who run these events or who attends them (so I can't recommend them) but they could be worth investigating, and could give more options in regard to being tied.

Also, I imagine some of the people would attend local munches and you could get an idea about the events from talking to people at the munches.

I can recommend a lovely lady to talk to in your area on The Site With No Name, too, and I’m pretty sure she ran rope events before lockdown?

Thanks guys ... I'm Aware of the site which cannot be named and active on there and even know of the events.

But attending as a single is tricky .... sometimes the rope scene can be a little cliquey and I was hoping to find someone that I could connect with not just in a platonic manner. I'm also covering all bases lol

It’s a shame you’re not closer. We’ve both been into shibari for a while but I’ve always been the one being tied I’d love to meet someone who I can learn with and learn a little more about suspension.
