How do you overcome it? I am quiet shy and know what I like and want but the nervous feeling I get when I want to post a meet stops it happening.. how do I get over this? In clubs etc i'm quiet but ok, its just the request for a meet that I struggle with

do you ask to meet socially first to get to know someone, maybe a coffee meet will take some of the pressure off.

Everyone has their own beauty but until you believe in yourself it will be difficult for you.

Re read your verifications. Only you see yourself negatively, others dont.

Beauty comes from within and confidence comes with feeling good about yourself.

Take the bull by the horns (so to speak)

Normally I only meet first for a coffee but like today i'd love to just pop a "meet me now" post up and just can't press that button.. but thanks for the reply x

Use it ... that nervousness you feel in your tummy is the very same feeling you get when you're excited and that's butterflies!

Some nervousness is good as it urges us to be cautious, the other bit is a little exciting and you should embrace that bit.

Keep a Dr pepper attitude ... What's the worst that could happen?

Always have a social meet first.

Then the worst that could happen is that it just doesn't work out but you've both had a coffee and a nice chat.

Some nervousness is about self confidence ... just be you .. if they like you then that's fab ... if you're not their cup of tea then it's just chemistry and nobody is in control of that and all you have to do is jump back on the horse.

the more often you meet people, the less nervous and shy you get.

a couple of times in the past i met people who werent very nice, which made me nervous about meeting people again.

most people i have met since, i have got on ok with.

still get a bit nervous, though, think everyone does.

I dont think it is a nerve thing but a confidence issue as I read your profile you put yourself down is that supposed to be a joke. You can be honest with yourself and how you are with out putting yourself down you are beautiful and with confidence the nerves slip away. Its good to have a little nerves it is what makes us human x
