Jumping the gun

Do many people face the problem of men jumping the gun when it comes to messaging?

A large proportion of my messages come from men asking for my address and location before they even say hello to me, and often before I’ve even seen who they are. I know it’s petty but it really annoys me. Does it happen to anyone else?

Any tips for how I can edit my profile to stop it happening?

Needless to say i can only comment from my personal perspective but i have NEVER everrrrrrrr asked for an address in a first message, i would only do that if meeting has been agreed, and it is approaching week of meet (ideally day of meet) but they usually stop replying before it gets to that ;-p hahahahahahahahaha

sounds little bit like an effect of the desperation syndrome to me, guy decides to send message, after sending ten msgs out since setting up profile, 6 unread, two deleted no reply, one read no reply, thinks fuck it i will ask and then at least IF they look the Q will have been asked, even though common sense dictates by doing that in your first message before even saying hello sort of ensures they wouldnt tell you and maybe wont reply as a result of doing it (self fulfilling prophecy)

Good work fam

My boudoir - S Wales

All the damn time

I think most also think a polite reply means they’re going to get their dick wet in the next hour. It drives me insane. Takes me a bit of time to build a bit of tension. I know some people love the spontaneous “I fancy you, let’s fuck”, but in my experience that’s always been a really crap meet!

I could do with some tips how to stop this too.

I very rarely message first on here unless there's a clear indication that it would be well received. Also prefer taking my time and building up a bit of chemistry first... At least that way, when I do get the horn I'll have some willing friends who are happy to help me out

Yes my Husband gets a lot of "can I fuck your mrs?" messages from men before they have even said hello, often with blank profiles too, it is infuriating.

He deletes and blocks.

Just block them instantly, people should read profiles to get at least a bit of an understanding of the person they are about to message, yes sometimes we can connect with people we might not necessarily instantly think we have a similar mind to but that can only be achieved with a decent conversation which unfortunately most lack. Why so many want to rush is beyond me but we are all different I guess ..

As men don't bother reading profiles before messaging it doesn't matter what you write.

As has been stated, if they are a pain, delete and block

Editing your profile won't do a huge amount to stop it, just delete and block repeat offenders.

Sadly there are a very small but vocal minority who assume if you're on here they're entitled to have sex with you, no matter what your profile says.

See it as a positive. You know at the first message that you're not compatible so no need to waste any time chatting.

I often get them inviting themselves round, despite very clear rules about how I operate on here.

Don't think it really matters what you write!

I've had this op too, where abouts are you and one where do you work?!

Why do they think we'd tell randomers all this info

I just delete and block anyone that starts with questions like this.

We've had this a few times. They make the assumption that we have a Fab account and therefore shagging is a given. Its just a case of where and when. There's no consideration that we may not actually want to meet them!
