So based on a conversation in another thread, I got to thinking that my taste in both men and women varies wildly! And personality definitely changes how attracted I am to someone. So I was curious if this is the same with the majority of people, or whether more people tend to have a rigid type that they always go for, both in face and body type?

I can be attracted to a wide range of women but I know that there are certain looks/bodies that I'm always going to find attractive.

I have a very specific type that is hard to find where I live. That's not to say that I don't find other features attractive. However if I do see someone that matches my pale skinny ginger fetish I usually get all flustered or just blurt out "Holy fuck you're perfect"

That usually ends all chances with them lol.

No I'm quite flexible I'd like to think. It do have some general preferences like them being taller, well built, hair, beards, vwe, a little older than me etc. But they are far from a ridged type or rules.

What is important is that there is a spark of attraction somewhere, that could be a face, a smile, their personality, humour, shoulders, cock, whatever but if there is something there I like then the rest becomes unimportant. I've had sex with men off here that were bodybuilders, overweight, big cock, small cock, black, white, brown, hairy/not hairy, 18, 76, you get the idea. I've also met women that were young singles as well a mother's of 5 in their 40s.

I think it's important not to be ridged to the point you risk being closed minded. Attraction comes in so many forms Xx

Generally speaking, no. I don't have a "type" at all. I've fancied, chatted up, snogged, and done all manner of things with all manner of people. That being said, while the above is 100% true I also definitely have one or two very specific "types" that I will ALWAYS be a sucker for, aesthetically. Red hair, blue or green eyes and ivory skin seems to be a look that's hardwired directly into my libido. Goth girls with thick thighs, tattoos and fishnets have a similar effect.

But, also with THAT being said, as has been mentioned already; looks aren't even remotely everything. If that 'perfect' redhead turns out to be a twat, it doesn't matter how perfect she looks.

I have my preferences yes, but they’re not hard, fast rules or rigid in any way.

What I don’t like is feeling like I have to stick those preferences. I have had women who fit my preferences vilify me for going against those which I didn’t and don’t like. I find it a complete turn off in someone when they do that, not the kind of qualities I look for in a person.
