"Is it me or are some people on here unable to hold a decent conversation that's longer than two words unless it's heavily sexualized? It's like the art of conversation is dying on here lol " Yep

"A question on this topic. At which point does too much chatter become TOO much. I am often accused, principally by my partner that I talk too much. The English language is such a wonderful medium so why not use it. At what point does a reasonable explanation of your interests and desires become too much. At what point do you become bored. If you have not got to this point you have answered my question. " That totally depends on the individual person I find, some people love a great chat and other like a short chat

One of the key points is to not talk at the person, but to talk with them. Keep them engaged in the conversation, let them add to it and watch for signs they may be getting bored or want to take the conversation in different directions and let it meander about naturally. Conversations are generally only boring if it's all one sided.
