Having a message deleted is better than it being left on read. When I see someone has deleted my message without responding, I know where I stand, block their account so I'm not tempted to message them again, and I move on. Being left on read is a kind of purgatory, although the longer it goes without getting a reply, the clearer the message gets.

Of course the super cool thing to do would be to delete your sent messages immediately. I'm not that cool though unfortunately.

What do you guys/gals do?

Bitter? I'm just saying it's easier to block those that aren't interested, so you never message them in the future, say if you've forgotten you messaged them.

Sounds like you’re thinking too much. After I’ve sent a message I don’t think about it ever again. I certainly don’t check to see if someone has read it or not.

It just leaves my mind until they reply, and if they don’t reply then I usually don’t notice. It’s not that serious.

True, I can't resist a look every now and then to see who's actually read my messages. I need to be stronger and not bother checking!

I think the same as yourself m8. I always like to reply to people who message me. I think that most of the people on here think the same too. I hate to see a deleted message but it's everyones choice

I don't hold it against any woman if she deletes my message without replying. If they replied to everyone they'd not get anything done! I prefer the decisive action of deleting, rather than just leaving it. But like has been said, I shouldn't care either way really! No reply means not interested!
